Boulder condo description
This is the sort of place you hope to rent: stylish, personal, unique. It's flooded with light -- all wood, steel and white linen. New York City Loft meets Boulder Lifestyle and mountain living. High ceilings, custom built-ins, great kitchen. All crisp white linens and towels. Your own boutique hotel in the middle of Boulder. The place has custom English wall prints, vintage chandeliers, Roost Lighting, California Closets, fireplace, and a great porch with Adirondack chairs to watch people walk through the neighborhood. Lots of entrepreneurs and artists/photographers live in the hood so the place feels very alive during the day, but not crazy.
The Holiday Neighborhood has a unique charm of it's own -- friendly neighbors, shops and restaurants to walk too, huge park for both kids and adults to hang out in. With open space trails just across the road. North Boulder is also the gathering spot for dedicated cyclists taking their longer rides, as north boulder is the prettiest direction to head.
With a gym, coffee, bus line, food and drink all a few steps away, you are still just minutes from downtown Boulder where you can't fall off your chair and not land on an athlete, a yoga teacher, or giant Whole Foods.

Very pleasant property in nice neighborhood close to amenities but free of crowds; we had two adults and two teenagers, and the two bedrooms plus a comfortable air mattress provided plenty of sleeping space. Sunny, bright, welcoming. Pleasant to watch the dogs being walked in the morning and playing on the central park space. I'd recommend this property. Property manager was prompt and responsive; our security deposit was refunded promptly. There are two excellent coffee houses within walking distance and a nice Italian restaurant with outdoor seating and a mozzarella bar. Plenty of parking.

I was fortunate to spend two weeks in this wonderfully stylish and inviting home. The owner has a sophisticated yet whimsical environment. The decor is spirited and joyful. You will want for nothing, your needs have been anticipated. Sitting with a cup of coffee over looking the Foothills is a magical way to begin the day. Falling into the luxurious bed after a day of sun, hiking and visiting with friends was heavenly. I arrived back home feeling refreshed and looking forward to my next stay at this little slice of paradise. The description and pictures are 100% accurate. You will not be disappointed.

Boulder get away
Boulder get away
We really enjoyed our stay in the condo, so much that next time we come back to Boulder we will definitely book again. It was really close to everything and pleasantly quiet! It was nice to wake up and see the mountains every morning, especially coming from Boston. The space is inviting and clean, with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. I cannot say enough about how peaceful and comfortable the space is for a little relaxation. It is close enough to walk to several restaurants, hiking trails, and an easy drive to Pearl Street Mall. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful aesthetics + great location
Beautiful aesthetics + great location
I stayed in this condo for a couple of weeks while in transition between Boulder and California. It's located in a vibrant live-work community, full of young families and hip singletons, very close to great hiking trails, good restaurants and cafes and one of the best bakeries in town. Even though the interior vibe of the condo is very city luxe, the view out the living room windows are nothing but Rocky Mountain gloriousness. The owner has exquisite taste - pretty chandeliers in the rooms, beautiful furniture and sweet details like Orla Kiely wallpaper in the bathrooms, comfy bedding and bath tubs big enough to take a nice soak after a day of cycling, climbing, hiking, etc. There's also a bookshelf loaded with fun things to read. It goes without saying that the condo was impeccably clean. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the tools necessary to cook a nice meal. And (if you're into that kind of thing) you'll probably find the dishes a pleasure to eat off of, too. There is a small patio that looks on to the neighborhood's main park with a great view of the mountains. Grocery stores are not really walking distance, but you can get there quickly (5 minutes or so) by car. If you're a fan of cavernous, hidden spaces, this isn't your place. The neighborhood is very active and the condo itself is prominently placed within it. But if you love sunshine, sweeping views, easy outdoor access and a brief, leisurely stroll for your morning java and pastry fix, you'll love it here.

About the owner: I'm a writer, NPR commentator, and classical acupuncturist. I also am developing a family farm in the northwest, that we are currently turning into a retreat, conference vacation spot on the islands, so I have a great love of creating environments that really nurture people in a style consistent with the location/vibe what have you. My side kick here is Isabelle the Portuguese wonder dog who's travelled with me from deepest Patagonia to yurt living in Jackson, Wyoming. Currently, I split my time between New York, Boulder & Washington. When you email a request, my assistant, Kate Miller, will happily help you in planning the details of your stay. She lives in Boulder full-time & assists in all aspects of the rental.
Why the Owner Chose Boulder:
I love Boulder and have enjoyed this spot where I completed my first book. Boulder is a great place to base out of for any length of time as it has a diverse set of activities, and is close enough to the Denver airport to know you can go just about anywhere. I have found even last minute tickets to be affordable, as it's such a large hub.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The place just has a great vibe to it. So full of light and crisp clean design with a touch of whimsy. (corny word maybe but it's true). The neighbors are great, warm, and into their neighborhood. This place sits on the path that cuts through the neighborhood so it's a great place to people watch without feeling overwhelmed. And all the classic boulder things are right there for you: biking, hiking, eating, drinking, meditation, Buddhist study, the Rolf institute, Naropa, Crispin Porter Advertising executives to college professors -- it's got it all. And to be able to walk to Protos (best pizza in boulder, an added plus). I can't speak more highly of the Holiday Neighborhood, and still so close to downtown boulder and 29th street mall, but with a more relaxed feel....
