This luxury Apartment of 1300 sqft on 2 floors ( duplex) is the perfect place to relax after visiting the Louvre ( just 5 minutes away by foot) or after having shopped in the exotic rue Montorgueil, filled with the best food stores of Paris. There is there a famous boulangerie "chez Stohrer" that the queen Elizabeth never misses when she comes to Paris.
Located inside a large quiet courtyard, the apartment is on the second floor (2 flights of stairs) with no elevator. The staircase is wide and easy. A few additional steps after the entrance door and you reach a spacious living space, loft-style, with kitchen, dining-room and living-room. High ceilings, and an entire wall with windows opening to the courtyard give a feeling of space.
The room includes a dining table with 6 chairs, two comfortable large couches, a coffee table, several smaller tables, including a small dining table with 4 chairs immediately by the kitchen. A large flat-screen TV set with cable TV (offering hundreds of international channels, including English language channels such as CNN).
An open counter separates the kitchen from the rest of the room. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, burners, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle as well as all necessary kitchen utensils.
The room is beautifully decorated with Asian work of art (Tibet, Bhutan, India…) reflecting the owner’s passion for this area of the world. The ancient oak floor, the carefully selected carpets, the beautiful lamps, the choice of colors, everything contrives to give a feeling of warmth and harmony.
From the main room a corridor with several closets leads to a room with a toilet and a sink and to a study, equipped with a larger than full bed (comfortably sleeps 2), bookshelves and a desk. From the study you access the modern bathroom decorated with beautiful tiles, equipped with a sink and a shower. The windows open to the courtyard.
A spiral staircase takes you to the second floor where you find a very large bedroom with a queen size bed. From this bedroom you can access a bathroom decorated with the same care as the rest of the apartment, with sink, toilet and a jacuzzi like tub. Another door leads to the third bedroom (access through the second bedroom), equipped with a double bed and closets. Both bedrooms have carpet on the floor and several skylights. They are very sunny and offer a nice view of the roofs of Paris.
The whole apartment is very quiet. You can sleep there peacefully without hearing any of the activities of this busy neighborhood.
Complimentary high speed Internet DSL connection and computer are available as well as free international telephone.

Bonjour Sauver, Everything is wonderful just as you promised. Your apartment @ 25 rue du Mail is perfect! I am a huge fan of tennis and would like to see the men's final match of the US Open. Can you recommend someplace that would be televising it here in Paris? I realize tennis is not as big in Europe as futbol, however there must be many fans in Paris. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely Paris apartment! The location was perfect in a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by. We walked to many sights and rode all over Paris on the metro - we used the Sentier stop. The owner, Sauveur, was very helpful and we were able to check in very early because the apartment was not rented that day and he didn't charge us extra. The property was clean and well maintained and felt very safe - the courtyard was locked at night, the building had good security and our apartment was locked up well. The apartment was so pretty - geraniums in the window boxes, nice furnishings and kitchen. We had very nice weather and the windows opened up and there were nice skylights that opened up also in the loft area. We recommend bike tours of the city. We loved the Fat Tire Paris by night tour and the Fat Tire Versailles tour. We highly recommend this apartment!

The apartment was spacious, well decorated, comfortable and convenient. In fact the apartment was more beautiful inside than the photographs suggested. We stayed with two families of three people per family and distributed the couples and children to each of three bedrooms and it was very comfortable. The house was warm (our stay was in April) and all the amenities were present in the kitchen, washrooms, and living room. It was a convenient location as there were restaurants, grocery stores, and the Metro nearby. Getting to all the tourist “must-see” locations of Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, etceteras, is easy by walking and Metro. Inside the house having access to telephone and wireless internet was a plus as was the satellite LCD widescreen television to watch the day’s news as you relaxed with a nightcap before going to bed. Overall impression was that it was a comfortable and relaxing haven to return to after a day of sightseeing in Paris. Would I recommend it to friends? YES. Would I stay there if I were to return to Paris a second time? DEFINITELY.

The four of us stayed four nights at the 332117 Duplex in Paris Arrondissement 2. Easy to get to from the airport using a single train. Great location, in a quiet courtyard off a quiet street. Very close to the up-and-coming Montorgueil area where there were excellent cafes, restaurants and shops/supermarkets. Very close to the River Seine, the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Gardens. Enjoyed a longer walk to the Sacre Coeur in Montmartre on the Sunday morning ,stopping at cafes on the way. Would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy Paris.

Beautiful apartment in a great location - perfect place for our family to enjoy spending time in Paris at New Year's. Many fun restaurants in the area and easy walking to the Louvre and other sights as well as Metro stops to travel greater distances. We took the train from Chatelet/Halles to and from the airport and it worked well.
