My mom and I stayed here for five weeks in Jan and Feb and we had an amazing time. My mother is 92 and is in a wheelchair and it was very convenient to stroll across the street to the path that goes around Lake Jackson and take leisurely 'walks'. The sunsets each night looking across Lake Jackson were as pretty as any I have seen on any tropical island, so get your camera ready!! When my sister and her husband joined us for a week there was still plenty of room in the home. It was also nice to be able to pick fresh oranges for breakfast each morning. That was really something we enjoyed. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this home to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This was my parent's home, purchased from the estate and remodeled in 1994 and again in 2009 with new roofline and raised ceilings in the Florida room, living room and foyer. Kitchen with granite countertops, center island, new cabinets and appliances [stainless steel dishwasher and refrigerator].
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Fishing and boating on a beautiful lake that measures 4 miles across. Bass fishing is great on Lake Jackson and especially on more remote Lake Istokpoga. Highlands Hammock is a unique State Park nearby that features a catwalk over cypress knees. Waterskiing and jetskiing are famous on Lake Jackson. Late March features the Sebring Grand Prix of Endurance for sports cars. 12-hour race that attracts thousands of observers and sports fans. Golfing on numerous courses within 5 to 15 minutes drive.
