Great new development with wonderful vision! As a senior, I really enjoy the wonderful group of neighbors on the block that gave me a safe sense of community. Everything I needed was near by (5-15 minutes away), restaurants, hairdresser/nail spa, bank, Safeway grocery store, Starbucks & fitness centre with stock trout pond across the street to read a book and watch the fisherman follow their dream. The layout of this lovely vacation home provides lots of privacy when vacationing with friends. The home has a very relaxing feel that extends to the private rear yard. One of the best features is the close proximity of the fitness centre complete with glorious outdoors pools (big like), and the walk is only a few minutes which is a huge bonus! There are are also plenty of things nearby to see and do. If you like to bike, hike, golf, swim, shop and find sites to explore - you just can't beat Florence, Arizona! I should also mention, the owners are very accommodating too!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Our stay at the vacation home in Arizona was a blast. It is clean, spacious and the nearby complex has a tonne of activities to offer. It is nice to be in a quieter area but still be close to all major amenities. We really enjoyed the break from the snow. Plus with no NHL this season it is really tempting to return again... good bye white stuff round 2??Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

48 & 50 yr old EDMONTON COUPLE: We enjoyed the quietness and privacy of a BUNGALO instead of a condo complex. Ability to prepare our own food was a requirement for any rental, and this kitchen was very well equipped. A good selection of fresh produce is available at nearby Safeway. Gym & pool complex had a lot of equipment, was clean and operated professionally. We spent mornings in the gym (cardio, weights, yoga) overlooking pool or desert. Afternoons were poolside, taking in the sun. Dedicated lanes for swimming lengths were set-up for the fitness enthusiasts. We can wholeheartedly recommend for a couples get-away health retreat!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We had a fantastic time at the house. It has a great layout and is three minutes away from the pool, shopping and restaurants. The weather was excellent and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitly would recommend this vacation spot and will book again next year. Wow!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed out stay!! Great place, good setup, and close to plenty of things to do and see. We drove into Scottsdale and enjoyed a nice day of shopping and sightseeing.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

What a great place!!!! Absolutely immaculate, and nicely decorated and quiet. Everything we wanted and needed. Beautiful activity center ( pools are incredible) , great grocery store, golf, lots of sight seeing and if you're into shopping (only 20 minutes away) Will be going back again. Owners very accommodating and helpful. If you love the warmth and and everything in the desert you'll love this. He wants to practice retirement by going to gym, pool every day – me too ! I packed my rollerblades in my backpack so I could tote home the groceries! Hike down the Grand Canyon was wicked, want to go right to the bottom and stayover next trip. We walked to the gym this morning, still to tired to use it, but it's amazing, we're going tomorrow! Doing really well, went to the Hoover Dam, Las Vegas- saw O, and Laughlin for a couple of days. Tomorrow were heading into Phoenix to shoot some guns and view the botanical gardens. Having a lovely time, can't thank you enough. The GYM IS FAB, love playing tennis, biking and swimming, we should all be retired!! Weather has been great 85-90, and your neighbors are wonderfully friendly :)Did you find this review helpful? Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: We are a professional couple from Alberta and BC and over the years have grown to dislike the long winters. We currently reside in Victoria, BC. We still cannot get enough sun and would love to bring 'sunshine' to others as we are unable to be in Arizona year round.
Why the Owner Chose Florence:
This particular property was chosen for its 300 days of sunshine that we so miss being in BC. There are also less than 3' of rain annually. There are 50 golf courses within 25 miles, so being advid golfers, we are bound to get our handicap down to a respectable number. The property is also located 1 mile away from the world class PGA Poston Butte golf course where we love to play...it's an amazing course!!!
