This cozy studio cabana is stocked with all of life's necessities and conveniences. Located at Front Beach Cottages, this pink cabana is one of 4 cottages located at Front Beach Cottages that is conveniently located just one block off Washington Avenue and 3 blocks from the shops, restaurants and night life of Government Street.
The Key West Cabana features a queen sized bed, flat screen TV and DVD player nestled within the cedar lined walls. There is a full kitchen with a mosaic glass tiled counter and an induction cooktop. The separate bathroom features a vessel sink and custom wood floor and the indoor shower sits within a uniquely private sanctuary.
There is an outdoor deck for dining, playing darts, enjoying an outdoor shower or simply relaxing.
The Key West Cabana is a block and a half to Ocean Springs' hoppin' Front Beach where a brand new 2+ mile beach path winds along the sandy beaches awaits exploration and exercise/bicycle enthusiasts. Front Beach also boast new picnics tables, bonfire pits, beautiful McPherson Pier for fishing or a moonlight stroll and Ft. Maurepas Park with its new splash pad, playground equipment, covered picnic area and amphitheater. A short walk in the opposite direction will take you to the Ocean Springs harbor where shrimp may be bought directly from the boats.
Dowtown Ocean Springs is host to the famous Walter Anderson Museum and Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center. In addition, the many restaurants within easy walking distance of the Cabana will satisfy anyone's tastebuds. From sushi to steaks and from middle eastern cuisine to italian delights, there is something for everyone in downtown. After dinner there are many night life offerings, many featuring live music from local musicians.
Ocean Springs remains one of the Gulf Coast's best kept secrets. It is located about 25 minutes from the Biloxi-Gulfport Regional Airport and is right across the bridge from Biloxi where guests will find casinos with top name entertainment and gaming.
A deposit equal to one night's lodging charges is required to confirm a reservation. While we are pet friendly, we limit the Cabana to two well-behaved canine guests. A non-refundable pet fee applies.
There is a strict no smoking policy in the Cabana and violations will result in deposit forfeiture, but you may smoke on the grounds or on the deck, so long as the butts are disposed of properly.

well, as anybody knows (as it turns out), there are no cabins actually on front beach road, so the name is a little misleading. this tiny charming bivouac is located in a compound of four structures on dewey rd as plainly stated in the description, i could have checked a map. but it's an easy-peasy stroll to the beach, about a block and a half, all downhill and full of sunlight and shade and bay breeze as you approach. spacial limitations of the cabin are more than outweighed by the witty nuances in decor -- someone's imagination has expanded the physical dimensions into something that feels like home. this place is a keeper.... loved itRecommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Truly enjoyed our stay in the Cabana! It was everything as presented, but even better. Every detail has been considered and implemented. The hosts run a lovely operation there in Ocean Springs. We would return should we find ourselves in the area again. Very clean, new and maintained. Many sites to check out by walking or biking. It was nice to leave the car sit for 3 days. We had a great time in this lovely cottage. We came down for a quick weekend getaway with our Shih-Tzu in tow, and all three of us had a great time. The cabana is within easy walking distance of both the beach and downtown, as well as several very nice city parks. The attention to detail in the design and decoration in the Cabana was wonderful, and our only regret is that we only had two nights to spend here. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

I had an awesome time at the Key West Cabana with my husband and dog, Archie. The owners are always around and very helpful if anything is needed. We have stayed at the Cabana twice now, and definitely plan to go again. It was the perfect size for us and extremely affordable (even for poor pharmacy students). The beach is an easy walk that we made daily. We also walked to downtown for the restaurants and St. Paddy's Day Festivities. Can't wait for our next trip!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We had a wonderful time at the Cabana in Ocean Springs.Cathy and Jason are always available to give us recommendations for things to see, restaurants, etc. and to make arrangements if there is something we need. This studio cottage is artistically furnished and feels roomy...the adjoining deck area would be wonderful hangout in warmer weather. Ocean Springs is a wonderful town...the Anderson Museum and adjoining Community Center are a must see! The new Frank Gehry designed Ohr-O'Keefe Art Museum across the bridge in Biloxi is well worth a day trip. I would recommend the cottage highly...thanks to Jason and Cathy for a terrific get-away spot.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.
