This house and property are extremely well maintained and comfortable. A home away from home. The owners are instantly like long lost friends. The town of Littleton and the surrounding area are beautiful and what you'd expect of small towns - charming. We enjoyed eating at all the restaurants, but our favorites were the Diner and the Pancake House. We are train buffs so we enjoyed the various train riding opportunities near Littleton. We would recommend this house to anyone staying in the area and will be back next summer too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you for your patronage. We look forward to seeing you again.

The listing understates how nice this rental was. Even though the home is 150 years old, the rental space is immaculate and well laid out. There was a bowl of fruit and fresh flowers on the table when we arrrived. Even though the unit is in town, the porch on the rear looks out over a large yard with no other houses visible. The owners, who live across the street, were very accommodating. Our daughter, who was hiking the Appalachian Trail and whom we were meeting, needed some supplies shipped there. They were waiting for us when we arrived. Littleton is a charming town with lots of good restaurants and everything is within walking distance of the rental. We almost didn't rent it because the price was so low we thought there must be somthing wrong. There wasn't, it's just a really good deal from some very nice folks.Owner response: Thank you Laun ~ You and your family are always welcome here with us. We thoroughly enjoyed your company. Janice

I spent a week of vacation hiking in the White mountains and the home was terrific. It is located on a very quiet street, but walking distance to downtown Littleton. The 150 year old home has been upgraded with modern appliances, wifi, etc. It is very spacious (more so than revealed by the pictures) and has everything that one would need. It does not have air conditioning, but the ceiling fans in all the rooms make the home cool. The owners, who live just across the street, were very welcoming and accommodating. I plan to visit again and would highly recommend it for business travelers and vacationers.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My work brings me to Littleton periodically and I am so thankful to have found this accommodation. The house has been tastefully restored but has modern utilities. It is nicely situated in a very pretty neighborhood within the village and is quite accessible to many conveniences. It is a perfect spot for someone away from home on business or for a vacation. Totally a hit with me.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Dear NYC girl, - It was a pleasure to have you a guest. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Maybe next time more than a week! Janice and Joe

Thank you for a great stay in a wonderful home. No detail was overlooked. The photos were accurate but unable to convey the welcome we felt from the minute we arrived. Home was immaculate and every ammenity was quality. We will definitly return and will mention it to friends and relatives travelling your way. Close to everything and the suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area were great. Enjoyed every minute of our week in New Hampshire.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: It was a pleasure to have you and we look forward to having you as a guest again.

Thank you for the perfect getaway to do my business in the north country. It certainly made me feel like I was home and not in some stuffy hotel room. Your attention to detail is incredible. So happy that the handy chopper and crock pot were there too! I will certainly be seeing you when I have business that way again. In fact, I may even plan a little winter vacation. I'll be in touch.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: It was wonderful to have you as a guest. Thank you for our patronage. Please visit us again anytime. Joe
