Edgehill is a large Maine "summer cottage" with eight + bedrooms on a huge 120 acre parcel, perfect for family vacations and reunions. It is in Sargentville, a quiet village, a "suburb" of Sedgwick. This historic farmhouse looks down across pasture and woodland to 500' of shore frontage on the famous sailing lanes of Eggemoggin Reach. 100 more acres stretch behind the house, with extensive trails through the woods, blueberries to pick and your own private pond.
A REVIEW FROM A FORMER GUEST:
…I am tanned and salty with a renewed spirit and revived heart. I have shells in my pocket and clay pots drying on my dashboard. This home you have made welcome to unknown creatures is a special treasure. Thanks for sharing it. It was like being at my Grandma’s

Great time for family reunion
Great time for family reunion
Our Family of 10 adults and 5 kids spent a week and had a great time. Swimming in the mill pond, searching the flats at low tide, playing in the barn, the kids had plenty to do. Its a beautiful old farm house, warm and inviting, plenty of space for everyone. I highly recommend.

Owner response: It is always such a pleasure to have people stay at Edgehill who love the place as much as our family does. The ambiance of our rambling house invites guests to relax and enjoy the quiet and beauty of downeast Maine. The Blue HiIl peninsula area also offers many things to do: art galleries, music performances, theater productions, craft and gift shops, and restaurants are just a few of the many things you and your family and friends can enjoy while staying here. Hiking, swimming, sailing, tennis, golf, kayaking ... the list goes on. So, whether you want to be out and about or simply sit on the porch or by the fireplace with a good book, Edgehill is a great place to stay.

an unexpected extra: the night skies are clear, dark and dramatic, perfect for watching the constellations and planets, our Milky Way, and the midsummer Perseid showers of shooting stars.
