This condo was completely redecorated and refurbished in 2011 [furniture, bedding, decor, etc...]. In 2012, we added new drapes and wooden blinds, all new appliances, and a luggage cart just for this unit. New for this summer will be an additional wicker seating set for the patio, new tables and lamps in the den and a new electric grill for the balcony.
Our happy renters love the LOCATION of Crystal View on Old Hwy 98, the uncrowded beach, and the decor and spaciousness of the condo.
From the minute you walk in the door of Crystal View 304, you will experience that 'aaah' moment when you realize you booked the perfect place to serve as your vacation home for the next few days.
Crystal View is located directly across Scenic Hwy 98 from private beach access and hundreds of yards of empty beach. Only 16 units share this four-story building, so you will not share your pool, parking lot or beach area with hundreds or thousands of other renters as you would at high-rise condominiums.
Only 130 steps will take you from the door of this condo to your private beach access gate! That is less than many beach-front condos that are set further back. There is a public bathroom on the beach for your convenience.
You will be amazed at the breathtaking Gulf views from your kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom. The unit is 1,713 sqft. with three bedrooms, three baths, 10-foot ceilings, brand new travertine-like tile on the diagonal in the living areas, and frieze carpet in the bedrooms. This lovely condo is light and bright and decorated in relaxing tones of spa blue and beachy tan. The balcony alone is almost 400 sqft and wraps around the condominium with multiple seating areas for guests to enjoy a book, dine, or enjoy the Gulf views. One nice thing that sets this Crystal View unit apart from others is that you can see the pool from the back of our balcony, so you can call your family members in for dinner. Pool bathrooms are located just steps from the pool.
Crystal View is conveniently located on Scenic Hwy 98 approximately halfway between Destin Commons and Silver Sands Factory Stores, so you are only minutes away from shopping, the movie theater, and various restaurants. Sandestin and the night-life it has to offer in Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard are also close-by. World-famous Pompano Joe's is a very, very short walk down the paved 5-mile bike/walking/jogging path.
The large MASTER BEDROOM has a king bed with a new pillow-top mattress and upscale PB linens, a walk-in closet, ceiling fan with lights, 32' LCD TV with built-in DVD, book collection in antique pine bookshelf, and IPod clock/radio. Most importantly, it has a giant balcony door with access to the balcony providing you with water views from the bed itself. The master bath has dual sinks, updated lights and faucets, a sunken tub and a separate walk-in shower.
The SECOND BEDROOM has a queen bed [new bedroom furniture as well] with a new plush-top mattress and designer PB linens. Two large closets provide plenty of room for clothes and suitcases. Enjoy the 32' LCD with DVD player, the IPod clock/radio and the attached bathroom with shower with updated faucet and light fixture.
The THIRD BEDROOM sleeps six as it has two new bunk bed sets with twins on the top and new full plush mattresses on the bottom. Guests here will enjoy the 27' LCD TV, DVD player, IPod clock/radio, and Playstation II with games. Guests in this room use the adjacent hall bath with tub/shower combo and updated light and faucet.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook dinner for and serve 16 or more. In addition to the traditional items, and because I am a mom who needs these things, we have a slow cooker, waffle maker and electric griddle for those mornings when you need to cook 8 pancakes at a time! There is a a huge bar with 6 barstools, and a brand new pine PB dining set in the dining area that seats 6 with an adorable burlap-covered light fixture straight from the designer mags.
The living room features a sleeper sofa, love seat, and two more occasional chairs for plenty of seating while watching your favorite movie on the new Sony 47' LCD TV. Also included are a DVD player, assorted DVDs, a Sony micro-stereo IPod/CD/radio, and assorted CDs. Free wireless internet.
We bought this unit in October of 2010 and have replaced almost all of the furniture, decor, electronics, mattresses and bedding. This is not your grandma's condo where you are in a shotgun layout with one patio door at the end of a narrow, low-ceilinged, dark unit. The combo kitchen/dining/den area boasts 10 foot ceilings and a large balcony door and two additional huge windows. Stand anywhere in this room and see blue water out the windows. You cannot find a nicer 3 BR/3 BA unit of this size with this balcony and these views at this price point.
I know you will love the unit as much as we did when we walked in the first time and said 'aaah.' The summer of 2013 is almost completely booked with repeat renters. Please come and check us out!

My family including daughter, son in law and three grandchildren had a great time. The condo was so clean and beautiful. I am very fussy about cleanliness when using someone else's dishes, etc., but I had no problem here. The bedding was all brand new and clean and the decorating was fantastic. We would certainly consider this condo again when coming to Destin.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We took our five kids ages 1-15. We all enjoyed the condo! Dad enjoyed the view, mom loved the convenience to the beach, pool and parking lot. Little kids loved playing on the oversized patio. Older kids loved their own tv and collection of movies. Grandma loved her private room and bath. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was great to have the washer and dryer! I truly enjoyed going for a run on the paved area in the neighborhood (houses in the area were wonderful to see) then jumping the in beach all before my family awoke! Beach is beautiful!! Its not crowded. The private access to beach was also nice, as well as the rinse area. Nice book collection- havent read a novel in many years- picked up a book from the condo and began reading again!! All pictures are exactly as you see! It was a wonderful trip. I was happy to find I made a great choice and would recommend it to others.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Just returned home from staying at unit 304 for a week in early August 2012. This unit is beautifully decorated and fit our needs perfect! And the view was spectactular also. Will definately be staying here again. The condo was beautifully decorated, looked like a Pottery Barn Showroom ! All we had to do to the to the private beach of Crystal View , was to cross the street ! Many restaurants and shops were close by. The owner even emailed me to check on us and was so helpful in telling me place to visit and to dine at. I was definately return to Crystal View ! I had a blast while in Destin. Thanks again everyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had the time of our lives!! We loved this condo. Everything about it was perfect for our family!! There was lots of room for everyone. Three bathrooms was perfect for all the girls. Having a washer and dryer made it so handy to keep all the towels clean. The kitchen is fully stocked and we ate in several times. Our favorite was the shrimp and crawfish boil we had while we all piled around the TV and cheered on the OKC Thunder:-) It is a very short walk to the beach which is not crowded in this area. The area is handy to everything especially all our favorite restaurants McGuires, Pompano Joes, Red Bar(well, not that close), ACME Oyster Bar and the Donut Hole. Oh, I forgot to mention the huge balcony with the wonderful view. AMAZING!! Planning on going back next yearRecommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The large condo developments to the east and the west spill so many people on the beach that the umbrellas get three deep in the summer. We are very happy with our tiny, little uncrowded building and the four or five umbrellas we see when we go. Leaves lots of room for my boys to throw the football! If you are interested in coming back next summer, try to book as early as possible. I just quoted two separate weeks this morning so I think it will fill earlier than last year. The condo was everything we expected and more! Having never been to Destin, we were lucky to find this gem! This condo is perfect for so many reasons! The location is great--on an uncrowded part of the beach, a community of million dollar homes on one side, a beach parking lot on the other. The result--great views of the blue ocean from the balcony and a nice area conveniently located between the outdoor mall and outlet mall. Another great aspect is that the complex is small enough to go up and down quick to the car, pool, or beach--unlike all the high rise properties. It is a great value for the price given the location and the number of adults/kids it can accomodate. Just as the pics show, it is very nicely decorated! The beach sand is squeaky white and ocean is amazing blue. Who wouldn't want to return soon? Highly recommended!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We have stayed at several different condos in the Destin area - 304 Crystal View is the one we have enjoyed the best! It is in a top notch location with super views of the gulf. The decor is very tastefull, the kitchen is well equipted and house keeping was superb. Crystal View is located near many great restaurants. My family and I just spent a glorious week in Destin at this condo and it was wonderful -- far exceeded our expectations and my expectations are pretty high! We have been vacationing in Destin yearly for the past 20 years and by far this was the best place we've ever stayed. The unit is beautiful with all the luxuries of home and then some. There were a few very minor issues that I made the owners aware of and they were ALL fixed within 12 hours -- I was not expecting that but it just shows how attentive the owners are and how committed they are to making sure everyone has the perfect vacation when renting their unit. Location is excellent ... view is excellent ... and the photos really don't do it justice. We would stay here again and will highly recommend this unit to anyone we know planning a trip to Destin. We love Destin ... hopefully someday I can retire there!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family and friends had a great time at crystal view. The furnishings were comfortable and the view was great! We loved the huge balcony and enjoyed several meals there.
