Simply put everything about the apartment is wonderful. The location, which was the most important thing for me in my apartment search, was excellent. You are close to most of the major points of interest. Manhattan is made for walking. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go because of the great location of the apartment. The 28th floor was another aspect that I wanted, I wanted to be able to come "home" (and it felt like coming home everything we walked into the apartment) and look out the windows and see the city (I did not want to be in a hotel on the 5th floor looking at parked cars on the street). There are great views from the living room and balcony. The door and desk personnel are super nice and helpful you can ask them anything about the city. The food choices within blocks is almost overwhelming. The subway is just a couple of blocks away as is Grand Central Terminal which gives you access to anywhere you want to go in the city. Of special interest, this apartment came exactly as advertised, which was very comforting when you are traveling to some place for the first time. Bad lodging can ruin a vacation, in this case it was one of the reasons we had an exceptional vacation. It is clean, spacious, and comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wow - what a wonderful place to stay in Midtown Manhattan. This was my husband's and my first trip to NYC and we decided to stay in an apartment instead of a small hotel room. This was just the place. A very well appointed one bedroom with everything one could need and more. The Kureg and water is a very nice touch and saved us going out for it each day. It was very nice to meet you Malini on that first day, and we will be sending any friends going to NY to your apartment. We had a wonderful stay and having a quiet welcoming apartment after a long day of sightseeing was just what we needed to rejuvenate. Thanks again!

We spent 12 wonderful days in this superb condo. We have been fortunate enough to have travelled widely on 5 continents, and have enjoyed excellent accommodation and service at many hotels, resorts, b&b's and condos. However, nowhere have we have felt so much at home as we did here. The owner, Malini Shah, has thoughtfully anticipated every need of her guests. In fact, tracking the adage "There's an app for that", we began saying "There's a Malini for that"! Previous reviews have spoken about such useful efficiencies as the laptop computer and wireless printer, and welcome creature comforts like the Keurig coffee maker, the pantry shelf full of bottled water, and the well-equipped kitchen stocked with a wide range of dishes, glasses and kitchen utensils. But in addition, would you like a cappuccino instead of either a dark roast, breakfast blend or decaf? There's a Malini for that in the carousel of coffees. Do you need Scotch tape or a post-it note to flag something on a map or a book? You'll find a Malini for that in the wonderfully functional desk. Do you need ointment and a bandage for a scraped elbow? There's a Malini for that in the first-aid kit. Do you need .... well, virtually anything? There's bound to be a Malini for that. And if you have any difficulty operating any of the equipment or gadgets in the condo, look in the living room drawers. You'll find the manufacturers manuals to guide you. Add to that the brilliantly convenient location, the cheerful and helpful doormen, the comfortable furnishings, the ample closet and drawer space, the sparkling cleanliness ... well, it truly felt like our home away from home to which we look forward to returning. Our only concern is that with all of the well-deserved rave reviews, we hope it will be available for our next visit.

A fabulous apartment

My 2 sisters and I stayed at this amazing apartment for 5 days. This apartment was even better than we anticipated. The owner thought of everything that a traveler would need. There were pens and paper to write things down; a computer at our disposal plus a printer; a very high end coffee maker; she even had umbrellas that we were very thankful for! The concierge and doormen were extremely helpful, and very pleasant every time we came or left. I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment.

The generosity of amenities and thoughtfulness as to our comfort was amazing! We were supplied with more than enough Kreug coffee pods of our choice, water, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, shampoo and soap during our entire 23 day stay. We had an issue with the safe and the printer to which the owner responded immediately. The building is in very nice condition and the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The location is fantastically convenient and it is walking distance to every possible restaurant cuisine and price range. There is also a market, drug store and health food store very near by. We were there for 23 nights and were very comfortable!. We will definitely stay again!!

1 bed room condo was excellent in terms of comfort and location. Tons of restaurants close by. Broadway shows just across the West Side. The unit was as described in the VRBO material and check in was easy and accommodating. The concierge of the "Cosmopolitan" was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the large screen TV's and the Keurig coffee maker. The unit was very well outfitted. We much prefer this type of arrangement to a hotel. We would do this again.

Not only are the Sha's great hosts, but the apt itself is wondeful! Perfect location...walked to Bloomie's Sak's and Times Square..plenty of subway connections , grocery store a block away, shoe shine place on 2nd ave.....there are the Lexington Ave buses right around the corner to take you to Soho and right back home up 3rd... There is so much more , it is not possible to put down in one paragraph..the view is spectacular, very gracious building staff and plenty of supplies in the apt including coffee, toiletries, etc... Book early in advance, this apt and the rates are just perfect for NYC....our new home in town!

We had a fantastic time on our vacation, and a lot of it had to do with our wonderful accomodations. The owner thought of everything, from the abundance of sheets and towels, to the Keurig Coffee machine, to the heated toilet seat! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. As business owners, we worked in the mornings and the layout provided for us both to work on our laptops comfortably without being in each other's way. The photos represent the apartment perfectly. What you see is what you'll get - and spotless too! The gentlemen running the front desk and door were all so very friendly and helpful as well. The location is fantastic - you can walk to so many places. We have found our New York apartment and will most definitely be back.

This is our first use of VRBO and we were impressed. This was our 10 trip to the city and by far the best place to stay we have ever had. Time to wake up with coffee and breakfast in a "completely" furnished apartment. We loved the apartment and the front desk staff was very helpful. We will return. The furnishing were beyond our expectations and perfect to a traveler that want a place to relax after a long day walking around the city. The owners were very helpful and easy to connect with by text or email.

Our stay here has been wonderful, from the moment we were greeted in the lobby by the concierge to the day we left. We absolutely loved the apartment. The photos are very accurate, and the space is much larger than we thought. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was great -- just 3 blocks from the subway. There is even a laptop computer and printer set up for use, which I found very helpful. The laundry room was also a plus! We would definitely stay here anytime we are in NYC again. It was so refreshing to have so much space in a city known for small hotel rooms.

Wonderful Rental Experience in Manhattan

Our first AirBnB experience was amazing thanks to our terrific host, Malini Shah. She emailed and texted full information about the apartment prior to our arrival. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped, (internet, flat panel TVs, DVR, and fluffy towels) and situated in a convenient and enjoyable location - near the corner of Lex on 48th. Zagat rated excellent restaurants are a few steps away. Fresh produce, pharmacy, and convenience stores are within a block. We walked most places - but subway and Grand Central access are also a short walk away. Anyone seeking a stay in a pied-à-terre in NYC should consider Malini's apartment.

My Wife and I stayed in this condo on our first trip to NYC to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The condo was exactly as described, very clean, well stocked and plenty of room. Could not have asked for a better location. It was perfect. Close to the Subway, Shopping and Resturants. The owner had plenty of water bottles for our use, and this was very convenient as we didn't have to buy any and carry it back. The linnen was clean with extra bedding on hand. There was a great selection of teas and coffee in the kitchen. There was even a computer and printer for our use which came in very handy, as we purchased event tickets off the computer and were able to print off our tickets, as well as being able to check in and print off our boarding passes when it was time to go. The owner also promptly answered any questions we had promptly, and was very helpful with suggestions. The building itself was very secure with friendly door men, which made us feel quite safe. We would love to stay in this condo again on our next visit to NYC. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we definately enjoyed our stay!

Excellent property in a good location

The information provided in the listing by the owner regarding the location was accurate. It is convenient to Times Square, Grand Central, The United Nations and many other attractions. The apartment looks exactly like the photos in the listing. We found everything well organized, clean and easy to use. There is sufficient closet space and storage to comfortably stay for an extended period. The apartment and building are well maintained. The concierge and other staf members were always there to answer any questions we had and to help with travel arrangements. It was always comforting to return to the building and have familiar faces there to greet us. The owner made every effort to make sure we were satisified with our stay in the apartment. We would definitly recommend this property to others and hope that we will revisit there again.

The appartment is very good ,very confortably furnished, nicelyklean. beautifull view of midtowwn with nice balcony were you are able to get some fraish hair.... Better than expected!!

We were excited with this property from the moment we entered the building and it just kept getting better. As soon as you enter the apartment you can see the view of the city through balcony glass doors. We dropped our bags and found ourselves on the balcony quickly (and at many points everyday). EVERYTHING is thought of, lotion, soap, all the right kitchen utensils, laundry soap, everything. Even the fact that it is a one bedroom didn't make it small for us with the two closets. It's a few blocks from Grand Central Station and other subway terminals so we found it easy to use the subway for travel. I had one question for the owners and they answered the phone the first time and emails instantly. The neighborhood is safe and we even found a fun, clean, neighborhood bar just around the corner that wasn't a club! I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Perfect accommodation for a New York stay

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to NYC. The description is accurate in every way. The location of the apartment is close to walk to many major sites (Rockefellar Building, Times Square, Broadway, 5th Ave shopping, MOMA, and so on) or metro stations and there are lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate area. The concierge/reception staff at the apartment was outstanding - always friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was exactly what we wanted and needed. It was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and well-supplied with everything you would need for your stay. Every time I would think of something I needed (e.g. computer/wifi, iron, umbrella, blowdryer, extra towels, kettle, etc.), it was there. The flat of bottled water in the fridge was a nice touch. The kitchen is fully stocked, although we mostly used it for breakfast and ate out the rest of the time. I loved coming back to our little haven at the end of each day. We will definitely come back to NYC and would stay in this apartment forsure. The owners were/are also very friendly, accommodating and responsive. Another reviewer had recommended Dos Caminos restaurant for Mexican food - we tried it our first night and really enjoyed the food and experience. For a fun bar experience we went to the Campbell Apartment at Grand Central Station.

Spent a week in this apartment. Could not have been better. The owners thought of everything. The apartment faces north and the view is spectacular. Location, location, location. The kitchen has all major appliances and is fully stocked with every utensil you could possibly use. Lots of storage, clean towels and linens. The size of the apartment was perfect & quiet. Personal safe in the bedroom is a nice feature. Wireless internet. Laundry room on the lower floor is very clean. Elevators are high speed. Felt very safe our entire stay. Grocery store with a very nice deli less than 2 blocks. Inexpensive (and expensive) eateries within blocks of the apartment. Subway and metro within blocks. Food carts are everywhere. From fresh fruit, donuts & drinks to complete meals. If you're on the go all day this is a great way to grab a bite. The staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. The Owners went way above and beyond what we have come to expect. I can't say enough nice things about them. They truly care about your needs. If you're thinking of staying in mid town Manhattan, this is the place. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed three weeks for work and holidays. The apartment is just as described, in fact we thought it was nicer than the pictures! It was clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning and kitchen/bathroom facilities. We oved the balcony for a drink in the evening. There is a little street noise at night, but no more than other places in NY. The owners were great to deal with - easily the most prompt to reply of any I've dealt with, and always helpful and accommodating. The location in midtwon/eastside is great - it's near restaurants, shops and subways. And, in case you didn't know - New York is a wonderful place to visit - enjoy!!

This apartment was clean, spacious, and with a very nice balcony. The kitchen and bathroom were also excellent. The air conditioning worked well. The rooms do get a little street noise at night, but that's the same everywhere in NY. The owners were fantastic - they replied to every request promptly, and were accommodating and flexible (I had to change dates and they wee very helpful). The building is in great order with great staff, and its position in midtown/eastside is fantastic - and it's only about three blocks to the nearest subway. The restaurants nearby are also good, and it's close to all the big shops. I have no hesitation recommending this apartment and these owners.

We're at the apartment at the moment and very sorry to be leaving tomorrow. We've had a wonderful time here. The apartment is exactly as described, clean and well maintained, the photos correspond to what it really is, but the truth is the apartment exceeds all our expectations! You really feel that the homeowners made the effort so that we could had the most comfortable stay, from the best bed sheets and towels to the best toilet paper, everything you need in the kitchen, laundry and everything you need for laundry, telephone, internet, TV, plenty of closet space, etc. Besides, the apartment is really well located, very convenient, it's unbelievable! After staying here, you'll never want to stay in a hotel in NYC! We strongly recommend it! And the most important of all, the homeowners are great, very easy to reach and to work with. We really loved our time here, thank you so much!!!

One Bedroom Apartment in Midtown NYC for Property 332389

Our trip to NYC was awesome. The apartment was lovely! We especially enjoyed the balcony on the 28th floor!! We drank our coffee outside and listened to the sounds of NYC. Very spacious, sunny and bright and so neat and clean. Nicely furnished. The bedroom was very large with plenty of closet space. Wonderful kitchen with all necessary appliances. Listing description was accurate regarding the location and the photos also accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. Homeowners were terrific! Always available to answer any questions or concerns. The whole building is well maintained. Subway and buses are nearby but walking is fun. Stop in the Waldorf Astoria for some coffee and cheesecake! Dos Caminos and Aperitivo are great restaurants in walking distance. Hillstone restaurant on 54th & 3rd Ave. has great Jazz from 6 - 10 PM every night. The doormen and concierge were very helpful, I would recommend this property to everyone. We cannot wait to return to NYC!! Thanks so much for a very pleasant stay!!

Fabuluos Apartment - Perfect location close to Time Square!

I found this apartment and loved it! Perfect location: walking distance from Time Square, Grand Central Station, The Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Public Library...all within 6 blocks away! There's a metro station 3 blocks away (Lexington Ave & 51st) and is very easy to find cabs anytime. Quality living best describes the feeling when you enter the lobby of The Cosmopolitan building. The staff is very helpful and you will find them 24/7. Malini and her husband were so easy to work with, and extremely helpful. They made all the necessary arrangements in order to get the apartment ready for us. The apartment was extremely clean and the pictures very accurately portray the nice view from the balcony and furnishings. We found all that we needed: clean towels and bed sheets, great LCD TVs, our own internet wireless connection, free laundry room in the basement and all the kitchens tools that you can imagine. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, pubs and markets in the area, so you've got everything you need right there. I will always contact Malini and Nilesh for future trips to the city. I strongly recommend them!

We've always stayed in hotels and were a tiny bit hesitant about the idea of renting someone's apartment. All I can say is if I could have this experience every time - I would never stay in a hotel again! It could not have been more perfect. The apartment looked exactly like the photos. Everything was immaculate and we felt SO welcome. The location is perfect, the surrounding neighborhood is perfect, the doormen and concierge were extremely helpful and kind. Most of all the host made us feel secure and were very quick to answer any questions we had during the process. I hope to stay here again on my next trip.
