We stayed at the Tahoe Cabin from 12/25 to 12/30 and had a wonderful vacation. It has everything you need, the heater works very well and keeps the place cozy and warm. Everything was very clean and organized and the location is perfect for being just outside of Tahoe City enough to be very private and quite yet within easy drive to slopes, lake, and stores. We had a great time.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

This cabin at the end of a cul-de-sac, close to the woods, was a wonderful place to set aside cares of the world for a week. It's clean, larger than you might think, and well appointed. The owners put a lot of consideration into setting it up. We loved staying there.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We stayed in the cabin for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. It is a convenient central location to many places around Lake Tahoe. The cabin is very well maintained, cozy and comfortable. The owner was available to answer any questions we had. Plenty of local places to eat out or grocery stores to get supplies to use the well equipped kitchen in the cabin. We enjoyed going to the beautiful beach at DL Bliss State Park where other family members were camping out. We went up to Kings Beach for lunch out on a deck overlooking the lake watching parasails, kayaks and the beautiful mountains. Lake Tahoe is lovely in the summer and we are hoping to come back to this location for our winter snowboard trip. Thanks for a great stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family stayed here during spring break and it was the perfect little get away! Clean, and cute, we really enjoyed our time at this cabin in a great area of Tahoe! The neighborhood was nice and quiet for walking around, my daughter loved sledding nearby and we skiied at Homewood, only five minutes away! We stopped at one store on the way home from skiing one day and they did not have what I was looking for, so the guy called the store down the street for us to check, and they had our item waiting. We enjoyed it so much we contacted the owners to see if we could add an extra night. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well stocked. My mom joined us and wants to go back, even offering to pay next time! We also spent a day at Squaw Valley, which was a very short drive.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend in your cabin! The location was perfect, and the cabin was impeccably clean and bigger than we expected. We appreciated the fact that you had everything we could possibly need stocked (paper towels, dish soap, etc.) Also, thank you for leaving the binder with ideas for activities-we are already thinking of returning for the warm weather months. You really have a nice place, especially for the price. >Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

At the risk of giving away what I would like to keep a secret...what a great find! We spent three nights in the cabin and had a great time. The cabin has a great wood stove and the kitchen has everything you need. It’s super warm and cozy. We ended up cooking every night. There is a general store right down the street that is super convenient if you forgot anything. You can tell the owners took a lot of time outfitting this place. We’re Looking forward to our next trip and will stay again soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time at this cabin. Clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced, it is located at the end of a quiet street, and is close to Sunnyside and Tahoe City. If you are headed to the west shore and want a clean, quiet place to stay, this cabin is for you. We highly recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The cabin was located at the end of a quiet street and was very peaceful. We enjoyed that it was close to the bike trail and had a nice free local beach nearby. The only negative was that we had to do some of the cleaning in the kitchen when we got there, and it had a musty odor that didn't air out after four days. I suspect that we may have been the first ones to use the cabin, since winter. Tahoma is a great place to go and relax!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We just came back from a 4-day stay at this lovely cabin and have already decided that we'll return there this summer. It's clean, cozy and perfectly situated. The pics really don't do it justice; it's actually quite spacious. The owner has compiled a wealth of information and 'things to do' in the area, which made us feel very welcomed. She was very helpful and patient. Truly a find.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I spent the weekend in this cozy cabin with my husband and son. The owner was extremely helpful with my questions and concerns. The accommodations are clean and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually roomier than it looked in the pictures. It's easy to find as the street sign is clearly visible from your car. A nice touch-the owners have placed a binder of local activities and restaurants on the side table for a vacationer's perusal. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend this property to friends-and have! :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was a perfect west shore rental for my wife and I. Easy to get to and close to Homewood, Sunnyside and Tahoe City. The road is flat and plowed and the cabin is quiet, clean and comfortable. Homewood Ski area is 5 minutes away and there are plenty of places to eat. I would recommend it, without hesitation to anyone who needs a little time off and with a little peace and quiet. Very reasonably priced as well!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in the smaller condo directly in front of the driveway. The condo was exceptionally easy to get too, with great parking, and easy to get in and out of the house. The house itself was also terrific, with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, great living room and separate bedroom. Nice appointments, and cozy place to spend time. It is located at the end of a street, nearly into the forest; it's exceptionally quiet, and there we took a great walk through the neighborhood and snow. Lastly, very, very close to Homewood. We had great skiing and got to the mountain early--just awesome. Overall, a terrific place to stay--we highly recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
