  This place had everything we needed for a week of rest: beautiful view, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, clean and well jetted hot tub, private patio, walks along the bluffs and quiet. ATT has zero reception, but that was also restful! The house was immaculate and very comfortable. We deffinately recommend this beautiful home.

  Beautifully appointed home with luxurious extras--amazing master bedroom, huge walk in showers upstairs and down, all the hardware needed for gourmet cooking, stunning ocean views. My favorite Sea Ranch venue! Thank you, John!

  Hi, John, We enjoyed the house very much and were sad to leave. The place is in excellent condition--the best of any of my previous Sea Ranch rentals. Your eclectic collections of bottles, choppers and assorted do dads kept us entertained and the high end fit and finish made for a pampered feel to our long weekend get away. We discussed the movie rental/DVD. I contacted the local video store and they no longer rent DVDs. Had we known, we would have downloaded any thing we wanted to watch or brought a player with us (laptops no longer have disc drives!). Was not a big deal--we streamed a flick and used the "buffering" pauses like intermissions. The Bluffs was just great. I hope we were good renters and would be welcomed back as we talked at length about returning later in the year. Thank you.

  We spent a week at the Bluffs, and were absolutely delighted with the entire experience. The location was perfect for us, quiet with gorgeous views and easy access to the coastal trail, and we enjoyed frequent visits from foxes, deer, rabbits, and raccoons. The house is beautiful and comfortable, luxuriously sized for one couple, and we also liked the proximity to Gualala. The Sea Ranch was fun, and we were happy to have brought our bikes and stand up paddleboards.

  My wife and I stayed here midweek and off-season for a getaway, and we would come back in a flash. This house is a treat! The interior is open and tastefully decorated, with views of the ocean over the bluff and the woodsy golf course behind. We hung out in the kitchen, baking and cooking. The master bedroom is large and inviting with a huge window seat for reading and keeping watch. One day we had rain all day and loved watching the breaking storm surf. We made good use of the trail along Sea Ranch’s ten-mile coast to the south and to the county park just to the north. John was a breeze to work with. A dynamite retreat!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bluffs and i cant think of a single thing that wasn't provided for us. The cozy kitchen is "Chef" rated with top notch appliances, the decor and furnishings look like they came out of a designer magazine, our bed was incredibly comfortable, oh and lets not forget the views! The "Bluffs" is located just a few yards from the bluffs and hiking trails that can take you along the cliffs edge in either direction and just a short hike to Gualala Point Regional Park with its beautiful beach full of driftwood and amazing sites, a beachcombers delight! Our host was very accommodating and obviously takes great pride in his home... Thank you John and we will be back!!

  The Bluffs House is a beautiful, well maintained property. It is the perfect place to go to relax at The Sea Ranch. We loved the location at the North end near shopping and restaurants in Gualala and daytrips up the rugged coast of Mendocino County. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife ( private visits from foxes), deer, hawks and hares. The walking and hiking is exceptional along the bluff trail all the way down to the The Sea Ranch Lodge and very close to the Gualala point park at the most Nosrthern end. We went and swam at the heated pool and sauna which was refreshing and well maintained. The home was cozy with the heated floors and natural sunlight heat each day streaming in through the windows. It was clean and comfortable when we arrived and all amenities were easy to find. Loved that quiet dishwasher and the adjustable mood lighting. What thoughtful planning went into this beautiful house. We sat in the jacuzzi and soaked our cares away looking at the stars. Thanks John and Kevin for sharing your beautiful dream home with us. I can't wait to come visit again.

  A very nicely kept property with favorable logistics for varied needs . The living room is small but adequate. The kitchen is sufficient as well. The master bedroom and bath are first rate and both bedrooms had very comfortable beds. My only real criticism is having to take all garbage with you when you leave. I thought for the price we paid for cleaning that should be included. One suggestion, a second door on the gate at the hot tub would make for splendid viewing of the ocean while soaking. The owner was very helpful and prompt with responding to any questions that arose. Overall, the group I came with enjoyed the home immensely and would consider returning in the future.

We have the property cleaned just before your arrival so everything is fresh and clean. If you leave trash behind, especially food waste, there will be definite effect on local wildlife an a potential of insect infestation. Think about others and the impact we all have in the planet. The timeworn mantra "Live Lightly on the Land" was originated by the creators of The Sea Ranch. So Pack-in and pack-out, together we can leave a better planet for all to enjoy.

  I have stayed at over a dozen different house's in Sea Ranch over the years and by far the "Bluffs" has been the nicest! Really a first class experience, Thank you John and I look forward to several future getaway's at the "Bluff" ocean front house.
