Welcome to THE LODGE at HIGH TIDE COTTAGE, Saint Simons newest "high end" vacation penthouse. Relax in a new home with 12 foot ceilings, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and luxury bedding.
Completed in 2007, this five bedroom new construction penthouse home is perfect for the family vacation wanting to be directly on the beach, but also wanting lots of amenities and gourmet kitchen. Sleep up to ten adults or children in five bedrooms, this penthouse has a huge private balcony with stunning direct view of the Atlantic Ocean. Fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to feed the crew, but you can still walk to shopping and fine dining in the village. YOUR FAMILY WILL LOVE THIS HOUSE. No pets No smoking. Perfect as a getaway for just a couple, or great for the whole family.
We prefer weekly or monthly rentals, but will consider nightly rate with a three night minimum if within 14 nights of todays date. Check my availability calendar then call for details. Most rentals begin on Saturday. Sorry, no pets.

This vacation property was our much needed escape! We made the PERFECT choice. If you are looking for a spacious , comfortably high end, vacation home with the BEST water views available in the BEST part of SSI, look no further! Call Marjorie and Book this home ASAP. There is more room than you can imagine and listening to the ocean was magical. This place was so peaceful. It was paradise. We had a fabulous time and will be back SOON! This house was even more gorgeous than in the photos! It was clean and well-maintained and the owners were accessible. We had a problem with the A/C and they sent someone out to fix it. The house is right on the beach with a little area covered by rocks (the kids loved exploring there) and then a strip of sandy beach to sit on. The beach area by the house was great for relaxing without having to go to the public beach. We rented bikes and hardly ever drove our car all week -- the house is VERY conveniently located between public beaches, the shops, and restaurants. We ate out a couple of times, but we loved using the beautiful kitchen and the grill. There are plenty of trails to ride bikes on to really see the beauty of St. Simon's Island. I would absolutely recommend this rental property to others. We stayed in the penthouse, which perfect for our larger group of family ranging from age 2 to 62.

This is such a great location - short walk to the pier area with the park, stores, library, restaurants. It has the perfect view of the ships coming in and out. We sit on the wonderful balcony with the high stools to watch the sunrise - sunsets, the tides going in and out, people enjoying the beach, dolphins, shrimp boats, birds, and the feel of the ocean breeze. Some of our family have joined us here and they love it as much as we do and hope to return also. We like the fact that the price Marjorie and John gives includes the cost for everything - no extra charges. We can't imagine anyone not wanting to come back here to stay as often as they can.

Welcome to our favorite place on earth! We have just booked our fourth year at High Tide Cottage. We love staying there and being right on the ocean and watching the big ships, dolphins, birds, etc. It is an easy walk down to the pier or to have ice cream at Zu-Zu's. Once you have stayed here you will never look for another vacation house again. The Adams are a delight to work with and we enjoy not having to think about where we are going to stay. We would give it six stars if we could!

This property has a fantastic, unsurpassed 180 degree view of the ocean, sunsets, jekyll island, and barge traffic in and out of the port of Brunswick. The windows across the back of the main floor make it feel as if you are almost in the ocean at high tide. The condo is located within walking distance of the pier and retaurants/shopping in St Simons as stated on the website description. The owner was very helpful, professional and responsive to questions. HIghly recommend the condo, particularly for large families or those with little ones or even teenagers that would like a place (the upstairs area) for them to play or be so that you can have peace and quiet on the main floor.
