Outstanding Condo and Location

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful condo recently. We have stayed here many times and look forward to returning. We have looked at other places, but we always return to this one. It is so nice and comfortable. We love being on the 3rd floor. The surrounding area has everything. There are nice restaurants, shopping, and a very quick walk across the street to the beach. We love The Red Bar and Another Broken Egg in Grayton Beach (short drive). The Donut Hole and Boyou Bill's are both favorites as well. Destin is just a short drive away where you will find the best Outlet Mall ever. We love Santa Rosa Beach because it isn't crowded. There is plenty to do. The pools are beautiful and so clean. The owners are wonderful and make it so easy. It's the best!!

Very clean and updated condo unit on the 3rd floor! This was our 2nd time at the Caribbean, first time in this unit. Would definitely rent it again! The owners are very nice and helpful. I had to call her when we got there and she responded back right away with information. The king size bed and bunks were very comfy - they have great pillows and linens and all the necessities in the kitchen. There is a Publix nearby so we stocked up for the week and only got fish and seafood at the nearby GoatFeathers Fish Market! They steam shrimp as you wait... and the fish is wonderful! If you want to eat out instead, there are many great places in the area. We've had ice cream from Miss Lucille's and pizza from Enzo's (both very close on the grounds). The kids play tennis and shuffle board each year and if you forget something at the beach, it's not a big deal to go back to the condo to get it...a few minute walk back.

Recommended for:Pet owners, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Exactly as advertised - comfortable condo

We stayed 5 nights in March, just before the big spring break crowds arrived. Santa Rosa and the other little towns along scenic Highway 30a are a great alternative to the busier places like Destin. The beach is lovely (warm enough for a swim even in March) and there's lots to do in the area. The condominium itself is clean and comfortable, with a big balcony for dining or relaxing. The beds and sofa were very comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size, with a great rain shower head. The pool area and grounds are well-maintained. There's a shop renting out bikes, kayaks, etc. just steps away. This condo was a lot quieter than other beach condos we have rented in the past. We look forward to returning and thank the owners for making their lovely vacation spot available to rent!

Stayed here for a week in November and had a great time. This property had all the features that were mentioned in the listing. The condo was maintained in excellent condition and the kitchen was fully equipped. About 5 minutes walk from a private beach. There were a bunch of shops, restaurants and bicycle rentals within walking distance and was right on 30 A scenic highway. Our 2 year old loved this place and we hope to be back next year. Must visit - miss lucilles, another broken egg cafe, crab trap (plan for a 20+ minute wait),bayou bills, grayton beach state park, topsail hill state park, harborwalk village

Recommended for:Families with young children.

Excellent Getaway retreat for the price

We traveled down there for a friends wedding. This condo worked perfectly. Beautifully decorated and all of the amenities. Owners were very accommodating and everything went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife, daughters, and I had a wonderful visit. The condo was very spacious and well decorated. Everything was fresh and current including the finishing and the trim. The hardwood floors were an excellent touch. We had excellent weather and crystal clear water in the Gulf with many beautiful fish, crabs, etc. We enjoyed the cinnamon muffins from Miss Lucille's among the other amenities Gulf Place had to offer. This place is definitely at the top of my list for a return visit with its exceptional quality.

A Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family of four - including two teenage daughters - had a wonderful week here! We were concerned about being across the street from the beach after years of being directly on the beach in a condo my parents owned in Destin. It was not a problem at all - it was less than 5 mins from the door of the condo to my beach chair! The grounds are beautiful, the shops are convenient (GREAT coffee at Miss Lucielle's!) and the bike/hike trail that runs the length of 30-A is great. So many wonderful restaurants to choose from - we were sorry we couldn't try them all! The condo is decorated very nicely and was a very comfortable size. On the flip-side, the negatives are that it could have been a little cleaner (lip around the table was pretty gross, shower doors need a good scrubbing) there were some left-over items from previous renters scattered about the unit. The balcony has a wonderful view, and we were excited about our own "personal" palm tree - until it was covered with bees & wasps during the day making it impossible to use the balcony until evening. It may be a seasonal thing as there were lots of good smelling blossoms on it. We would definitely stay here again - we just loved the 30-A location. So much quieter and easier to get around in than Destin.
