My little family and I loved this little cabin in the woods. It was so peaceful. My favorite was reading on the deck off the loft early in the morning before anyone was up. My daughter loved the community pool and the fishy pond out front! Thanks for leaving fish food for us so she could feed the fish. The highlight of her day was feeding the fish! (she's 4). My husband liked to just be able to relax and not have any chores! And my two dogs loved all the new smells on the long walks we took. They still can't figure out what kind of dogs were walking all around our cabin taunting them! (the deer). Also, thanks for the restaurant recommendations, we enjoyed Bella Mia and Trattoria 903.

Wow Lee, what a great time we had. AGAIN!!!!!! The "Gingerbread Chalet" was just as pretty as it was years ago when you first bought it. Each one of your homes are absolutely gorgeous, can't even pick which one we're gonna come to next, can't wait! Lee and the kids got 2 days of great skiing/boarding while me and Blaze hung out at the house in front of the fireplace and in the hottub!! So incredibly enjoyable!! We'll be back real soon!

If you are looking for a small, relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life then this is the place for you. It is located on a quiet street and in a small community. I stayed here with a few friends of mine and had a great time. There is a hot tub and a beautiful master suite. The kitchen comes equipped with the necessary utensils and cooking materials. The only complaint with the kitchen was that the blender gave off a burning smell after one use. The property is well maintained and house is squeaky clean. The owner is extremely helpful and will aid you in anything you need. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet vacation.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend stay at the end of April. The house itself was easy to find, very clean, and had plenty of deck space. The owner was very courteous and always answered his phone. We called him about the hot tub and he had it emptied and refilled in a hour! Highly recommended, we'd definitively go back.

This has been the best experience I've had in booking a vacation. The moment I viewed the web site and read the description and the reviews I knew this was the place. After inquiring about date availability I received a response from Lee almost immediately. Not only was every detail accurate on the listing the home is pet-friendly. We stayed from April 16-23 celebrating our father's 70th Birthday. The home was very clean, well maintained and offered many suggestions to area attractions, things to do, shop, and dine. Secluded from all the chaos we all enjoyed watching deer pass by. Sitting in the hot tub under a canopy of stars is a must. When we first entered the home my father was surprised with a dining area full of Birthday balloons. We never told him we were all gathering for his Birthday. Thank you so much for going over and beyond Lee. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to vacationers and pet owners. It was a pleasure renting from you Lee. I don't think I will ever experience such excellent customer service as you have provided for us. Thank you once again.

I rented this chalet for 11 days with my fiance. This was the first trip to PA for me, and i must say i will definitely come back and rent this chalet again. From the minute we got there i fell in love with the way the house looked inside out. It was well equipped in everything we needed, very clean, and well maintained. Inside of the house is exactly what we saw on the pictures, the fireplace was excellent for night time relaxation, jacuzzi very clean, big, and worked well. There was a working internet which was very important to me, every room is equipped in a TV with working cable, and a DVD player. Another huge plus was that I was traveling with my dog which was excellent because most owners don't allow pets. I must say that dealing with the owner of this chalet was a true pleasure, he was very accommodating, very caring, always answered his phone when i called. I didn't get to meet you in person but i must say it was a true pleasure renting your home and i will definitely be back !!!! Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful.

My family and I spent 4th of July week at this beautiful chalet. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The kids had a great time with the chipmunks.Lee was such a pleasure to deal with. I've rented many places over the years and never dealt with anyone as accommadating as he.Looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed here with our two dachshunds and had a great vacation. The community is a great place for walking and seeing deer. The only disappointment was not seeing any bear :) Our two doxies enjoyed their walks and exploring the yard, too. The house was well kept and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and attentive. We highly recommend this chalet.

What a wonderful experience working with Lee. I took my husband for his 50th birthday. Lee went the extra mile and had a cake and balloons waiting for us upon arrival. That was a nice little surprise for my hubby. If you are looking to relax this is your place. The decor in the home was beautiful. Can't wait to go again.

The Gingerbread Chalet in the Poconos was just what we were hoping to experience. It was my girlfriend's first visit to the area and one that she will cherish. The location of the home is just a few miles away from the heart of Lake Harmony which made it very convenient when getting around. The home itself was just as it was promised. Beyond our expectations, the bathrooms and bedrooms were themed with mountain décor which was an added bonus. Beds were warm and cozy too. These “TLC” touches made us feel incredibly comfortable and added warmth to the place. The home is like new and was in great condition with a wooden floor in the living room and carpet in the bedrooms. The home was impeccably clean and housed all the kitchen amenities we would ever need. The wood fireplace was great to use and the wood burning stove was great too. The layout provided was just perfect for the two of us and also ideal for many more. The owner was very accessible and helpful before, during and after our stay. Everything which was promised was delivered and there were lists in the home in case we forgot anything. The area information provided by the owner was also very helpful in getting around. Having cable in the bedrooms and living room was a bonus and the internet accessibility was great too. The large windows throughout the home give a feeling like you are in the forest. The owner is responsible, responsive and proactive. I would highly recommend this chalet and will stay there again. Overall, the home was a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed for 5 nights over presidents weekend. My daughter kept calling it the gingerbread cottage. It was well equiped, close to skiing and wonderful to look out and see wild turkey's, deer, and even skunk close by. (tho the dogs were highly upset we wouldn't let them out to get the skunks.) It was really quiet at the house, and Lee has wonderful staff who respond to anything that needs attending to. Felt like a true home. My family want to come back over the holidays. Lee was easy to work with and very responsive. this is perfect getaway for a family

I stayed here for New Years Eve and couldn't have asked for a better of place. Everything was very clean and the house was very cozy, just enough space. The Owner was very helpful and always on call. We had a small problem with the hot tub and I called the Owner and he answered right away and made sure the problem was corrected as soon as possible. The community is great, but you still feel like your in the woods with all the wildlife aroun. We even saw a whole cluster of Turkeys running around. One of my best New Years ever, thanks!

What a wonderful vacation home. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. It is well decorated and had all the amenities you could ask for. We really enjoyed the community it was located in too. It was great for riding bikes and long walks. The owner was also great to deal with, very professional and accommodating. We will definitely be back again next year.

My family (husband and two small children, plus dog) enjoyed a weekend here in November 2007. Lee was a pleasure to deal with and answered all of our questions and concerns. The place was spotless and felt like home. The beds were comfy and there was also a notebook of ideas & directions of places to eat and shop! Deer came right in the back yard. The hot tub was a plus! We look forward to renting again from Lee in the future!

We had a great time. The cabin is great for couples, or a small group. Everything was very clean and well kept, and the hot tub and fire place really are a plus. Our little dog Monster Stewie also enjoyed running around in the yard. We also stopped by Dom and Ali's restaurant/pub as well. Delicious food!!!!We will definately rent this cabin again.

I can't say enough about how great this rental experience was. From the beginning, the owner was upfront and responsive (great when we were nervous about renting for the first time through the web!). The house was charming, really well stocked, and the location is beautiful. This is not an ordinary vacation house - the hot tub, deck off the master loft, huge tv in the living room (great for family movie night) - all made it very special! We had an emergency with our small daughter while there, and again, I can't say enough about how reassuring it was to be able to call the owner, and get such a quick and helpful response - he even called that evening to make sure she was OK. Thanks for everything, Lee!

I spent an amazing, relaxing vacation here with my boyfriend for a week. The town of Albrightville has the perfect combination of getting away from the busy city and at the same time not feeling like you're stranded in the middle of no where. The house is great, very clean and fully stocked. I highly recommend this rental!

Wow! Four of us and a cat enjoyed this mountain retreat much more than we ever expected. We were looking for a relaxing getaway and came home recharged and ready to go. The house itself is beautiful Unlike most places, the pictures really do represent how the house looks. It felt like home right away. We plan to go back. We are talking about a Spring weekend so that we can experience the beautiful surroundings in another season! Finally, the owner, Lee, was so amazingly helpful. He called me and emailed me fron his own vacation the week before to answer the questions I had. This was the perfect experience.

We recently stayed at this property. What a nice experience we had. The house is warm and cozy and very nicely decorated. It was also very clean. The fireplace and hot-tub were great amenities. Not only was the house charming, but the property was lovely. We would look out from the living room at deer grazing by the pond on the front lawn. The owner of the house added to the wonderful experience. He was attentive, helpful and concerned that we had a good time. He made sure that we had everything we could possibly want. He offered great ideas for day trips and dining. We will definitely return to this property, especially when it gets warmer. The lake and other facilities look great. Thanks Lee for a great time.

When I looked at the house pics on this website, I thought to myself "It can't be this good for such a small price" But it turned out to be even better! The house is just marvelous, everything is clean and new, the atmosphere is very cozy, the house is very well equipped and very comfortable: fire place, lots of plants, paintings, carpets on the floor, great kitchen, outside jakuzzi, backyard elevated veranda, small pond in front, lots of board and card games, tv's and vcr's in every room. We had a great time playing chess and checkers in front of fireplace at eveinings. And then there is a beautifull, calming nature, clean air, bird's singing, we saw deers few times, but they were scared away by the excited screams of my sister's child. Also there is gorgeouss small river near by in the woods, very beautifull especially in the winter. My hobby is fotography and I took a lot of great pictures. The owner is very helpfull and polite. Overall we just had a blast this three days, and are planning to go this summer too.

We had an absolute blast at this house. It truly looks just like the pictures posted on this site. It's extremely clean and comfortable. Mother Nature even cooperated with us and gave us a blanket of snow to make the weekend even more perfect. We will DEFINITELY be back again. Highly recommend renting from Lee.
