This was our first trip to Cape San Blas. The condo was very comfortable and the location was convenient to all the things we wanted to do. We biked and hiked in St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, kayaked in the bay, and walked to the lighthouse. It was fascinating to be so close to all the wildlife, especially in the bay. We enjoyed burgers at Coneheads and ate seafood at Boss Oyster and Indian Pass Raw Bar. Our favorite meal by far was when we cooked boiled shrimp from St. Joe's Shrimp Company. We had a fabulous time on spring break. Thank you for sharing your home.

We had a wonderful time, have been vacationing in CSB this time of year for about 5 years. This is our first time in Dunes Club 2A and we will certainly be looking to stay here again next year. The location and amenities are perfect for our family of 6 and our pets. We had a blast fishing, catching several whiting and shark. We also had our first Coneheads burgers...awesome.

What a great spring break we've had. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The weather was great! Shelling was awesome! The banana, vanilla wafer pudding ice cream at Scallop Cove was addictive. Thank you for such an awesome condo! Our 4 kids (plus 1 friend) loved it! Our little dogs loved it too! We had good weather with a couple of rainy days but enjoyed every minute of it. Lovely and remote beach condo is well thought out. Our crew decided we could just stay and live here or at the very least return soon. Been to may beach locations, never felt so safe. Our 13 year olds were always in sight, we never saw a single questionable beach comber. :-) How cool it was to include our treaured dog (Zoe boxer/lab) She's smiling. Enjoyed the open air cross breezes. How beautiful the view is from the master suite - sun up, sun down and Gulf surf. It just doesn't look a bit like our sweet home Chicago!! Warm and sunny 80 degrees every day.

We have had such a fantastic time here in Cape San Blas! Your condo is beautiful and so comfortable for our family. We have enjoyed swimming, walking on the beach, riding jet skis and building the mother of all sandcastles. Our dog absolutely adored the beach although he is very disappointed that he did not catch a single seagull!! :-( Three generations of our family vacationed here this week and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

This was a beautiful condo on the second floor with a spacious layout and great view of the ocean from the deck. My wife and kids had a great time playing on the secluded white sand beach. I have never seen so many shells on the beach before in my life. We didn't eat out much on our trip due to the great local seafood markets near by. The St. Joe Shrimp Company and Tripletails seafood market had fresh fish and shrimp that we picked up and cooked back at the condo. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and pans. Just remember to bring extra paper towels, trash bags, and TP along. I would definitely recommend this condo to any of my friends or family that were interested in visiting Cape San Blas.

The Ward's Family Fishing Trip

We enjoyed 4 days and 3 nights in this beautiful condo. We have gone fishing out of a Marina in Port St. Joe for many years. We caught our limit on Trout and Flounder too! The fishing trip was well worth it...as our Captain is always a wonderful host on his boat! This year ranks up there as one of our faves! We especially enjoy that we can take our 4-legged friends along and they can enjoy the beach with us. They are a huge part of the reason that we visit Cape San Blas. We love pet friendly beaches! I had a ball getting out and finding seashells! They were in abundant supply! This condo was so very nice. We enjoyed eating out once for lunch and it was so pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze and warm sunshine! We prepared all of our meals at the condo while we were there except for this one eating out venture. The only thing I would change is we needed a sharp knife in the kitchen for our food preparation and the coffee maker was in need of replacement. Next time we will take these two items from home if we get to stay here again. This unit is especially nice and I highly recommend it to all! If you take your dogs along just remember to take good care & clean up after them well so owners will continue to offer pet friendly places to use. Thank you for offering us your beautiful vacation home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...and look forward to returning in the near future!

Hi this is Roni, the owner of Dunes Club - Palm Paradise. I am down for a few days making sure everything is ready for the upcoming summer season. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the water is so blue. There is no place like Cape San Blas. My daughter and I were on the beach today and no one is here. We looked left and then looked right and we were the only ones on the beach. I will never understand why people go to the crowded beaches in Destin or Panama City when they can have their own personal beach on Cape San Blas.

What a great week we had. The weather was fantastic and we enjoyed long walks on the beach with hardly a soul in sight. The condo is beautiful and so luxurious, but also cozy. We especially liked the kitchen and sitting on the deck. It's so quiet here, we loved our first visit to Cape San Blas and will definitely be back.

A wonderful place to spend our first full month in Florida. The beach was such a treat - long walks for us and our Bichon, Yuki. He just loved the freedom to run! We also loved St. Joseph State Park. We have had an absolutey amazing time here. We are so sad to be leaving tomorrow. The accomodations and the view were terrific. Some restaurants we liked here were the Loggerhead Grille(much more fancy than we expected), the Sunset Coastal Grille was good too. We didn't think much of Toucans in Mexico Beach. If anyone drives to Panama City Beach - Pinapple Willy's is a great place to eat. Apalachicola is a fun sightseeing place to take a day trip to. We loved the serenity and privateness of Cape San Blas. We had wonderful weather this week. Thanks a lot.

What a delightful place! I knew the condo was well equipped and luxurious from the on line writeup on vrbo but the actuality is SO much more. My daughter and granddaughter were just blown away by the granite bar and marble shower - which they both just had to use. We sampled Pepper's Mexican Grill(excellent especially the fajitas) and Sunset Coastal Grill, which everyone found to be excellent too. All in all it was a very relaxing week in a beautiful location. An enjoyable trip. The highlights were the sunset sailing trip with the Wind Catcher sailing out of Appalachicola and meals at Sunset Coastal Grill, Tamera, Veranda and Papa Joes. The peace and quiet were exactly what we wanted for this trip.

Our trip here was wonderful. Some restaurants I would recommend are Loggerhead, Sunset Coastal Grill and Coneheads. Be prepared for a wait at Coneheads. The beach was fantastic, as well as the condo. We found the kitchen very enjoyable, since it was so spacious. This vacation spot was fantastic.

Our first visit to the area. This unit served us well and is professionally decorated and well stocked. The beach was great and the lack of people made it better. The best restaurant food was found at Loggerheads just down the street. All in all it was a great week, as they always are when you spend it with your children and grandchildren. Should we ever return to the area, we welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

Hi everyone, We are the owners of Dunes Club Palm Paradise and we just wanted to let everyone know that Dunes Club came thru "Dennis" with minimal damage. The building lost a few ceiling fans and a bit of vinyl siding on the porches and one palm tree fell over but the pool, beach and boardwalk were all unharmed. We were here this week and had a great time scalloping in the bay off the bay beach in St. Joseph State Park. All we di was wade in about calf deep and found over 250 scallops. It was like looking for Easter eggs. After reading the guest book, we also rented a pontoon boat in Port St Joe Marina and had the same experience as the Hiatts had a week or 2 earlier. Dolphins everywhere around the boat, we were going crazy. Later we were actually in the water near the tip of the Cape when 2 more dlphins swam by within 5 feet. All my 8 year old could say for the rest of the trip was "We swam with the dolphins!". It was a great trip, one we won't soon forget.

To sum it up it was a beautiful vacation. We arrived, checked in and than strolled along the beach til nearly sunset, enjoying the gentle surf and seabreeze and the myriad of crabs scurry about. The first week we spent entirely on the beach, collecting shells, fishing, swimming and a lot of relaxing. At times we might see no more than 6 people on the beach, those were a 10 minute walk away. It's like having the whole beach to yourself. This is an interesting area in that there is little else to do outside of the ocean. We rented a pontoon boat and headed to the tip of Cape San Blas. We spent an hour with dolphins all around us. It was stupendous. We than waded the shallows amongst the hermit crabs. We netted and released a puffer fish, starfish and sand dollars. There was an amazing array of beautiful shells, though virtually all were owned by a hermit crab. The condo is very nice with all of the kitchen appliances that one needs to cook most meals. The owner has done a good job decorating this place. It was easy to relax and while away the hours. Coneheads is a good place to go on the Cape,fine sandwiches and good ice cream. Beachcombers pizza is excellent (and you can do pickup), the Dockside Cafe at the Port St Joe Marina is nice and there is live music every Friday and Saturday evening.

Our stay in your condo was wonderful. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and we couldn't have been happier with our surroundings. You have furnished your home with a keen sense of detail and class. And the beach! We walked for hours. We loved finding the turtle tracks and following them to the marked and protected nests. The water was beautiful, even the rain was nice. Coffee on the deck, dinner on the deck and wine on the deck - we just can't say enough, but we can say thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Had a great time. Your home is so lovely and comfortable. Some tips: Fish House and Killer Seafood in Mexico Beach -both very good Appalachicola is a fun side trip. If you like history, walk thru the graveyard and walk thru the neighborhood near the bay. The Grill restaurant in town is not fancy but has excellent local seafood - fried of course.

Just wanted to let you know what a great time we had in your condo. The condo was awesome. I don't even know where to start!!! This was our first trip to Cape San Blas and we loved it. The weather was iffy but we still had a fabulous time. It was very sweet to leave us games and movies to keep us entertained while it was storming. We really enjoyed "Remember the Titans". Oh My Gosh! What an absolutely beautiful condo! Everything is exquisite and peaceful here. When I first walked in I thought, You have got to be kidding me!!! It was so over the top beyond my wildest expectations. Jesse and I were completely blown away. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay here and I feel completely blessed. We will always have the memories of Gabriels 1st time at the beach (14 months old)- running around on the sand, discovering waves and eating every piece of driftwood out there. We were initially headed to Orange Beach but Hurricane Ivan changed our plans. We really enjoyed your condo. With some friends we had 2A, 2C, 1B and 2E. Your 2 units 2A and 2C are definitely the best. We ate at the Sunset Coastal Grille and would recommend it if you are looking for a nice dinner.
