  Gale force winds couldn't keep us for enjoying the warmth of Valyma. Thank you, Pat, for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your beautiful home and grounds and letting me decorate it a little for Christmas. What a great living room for gathering around the fire and enjoying the family. Loved the table in the kitchen but just had to use the dining room for the family Christmas dinner. After a busy day, bedtime was most enjoyable in the very comfortable beds!! We had so hoped for snow and did get a dusting with some of the biggest flakes of snow that any of us have ever seen....it just didn't last, but was fun while it lasted. Seeing the pool covered outside and walking around the grounds made us long to see its beauty in the spring/summer. Feel in love with Citarella's -- so yummy. Everyone was so pleasant and accomodating. The time just went by way too quickly. Thanks again. Trish Peoria, IL

  My husband, two dogs and I had a perfect October week at this beautiful home. It is even more spectacular than the pictures suggest and was wonderfully safe for our active dogs (fenced-in yard all around). House interior decorated to the nines making us wonder how this house could be a rental. The yard has a beautiful pool/lawn and is surrounded by nice wooded trails which our dogs loved to explore. We will be repeat customers. Thank you Pat and family for making your home available to us.

  We rented for a month... One of the best If not "the best" house rental I've stayed in so far. Both the inside and outside of the house are impeccably maintained. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It was everything I wanted and more from a rental. The fully fenced in property was perfect for my dog. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING! Mauricio is the caretaker of the house and he's super! He made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to book the house again!

  My husband and I had such a FABULOUS stay at Valmya with our dog Kimbrough. As city dwellers and expectant parents of our first we knew an escape to the countryside was in order. Valmya and Water Mill exceeded our expectations. The house was perfectly appointed and SPOTLESS. As an avid cook and baker I was thrilled with how well stocked the kitchen was. A large holiday meal is easy to crank out of this gourmet space. The media room and living room were fantastic places to spend our evenings and our days were spent exploring the Hamptons, beaches, and HUGE backyard. Our dog did not want to leave and thoroughly enjoyed the luxury of having acres of land to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed knowing he was safely fenced in. If Valmya was this lovely in the winter, one can only imagine how fantastic it would be in the warmer months. Hopefully we’ll be able to find out soon enough!

  I was searching for a beautiful home where I could spend a month while I was on sabbatical and especially one where I could take my faithful companion who never leaves my side. I found Valmya and it was PERFECT in every way!! First, its a beautiful home with high end amenities, starting with a Viking stove, beautiful landscaping, and close to all of the Hamptons villages and hamlets. The entire renting experience, from start to finish, was outstanding.

  We stayed at Valmya for 10 days in July with my wife's family, our young daughter and dog. Having come out from the city, the first thing my daughter said when she saw the back yard was "woooow." In addition to the large pool, there is plenty of room to run for kids (and pets) to run around and explore in a private and safe haven. We had a wonderful time cooking in the chef's kitchen, lounging by the pool, playing in the yard and enjoy all the other ammenities in the house. Valmya is amazingly private for being so centrally located to southhampton, bridgehampton, sag harbor and other villages. Pat and the team were a pleasure to work with and made for an amazing vacation!

  I just finished a wonderful week at Valmya with my family (including my two dogs!). We all had a great time, relaxing in the quiet and beautiful gardens, swimming in the warm and lovely pool, eating on the long teak outdoor table, and lounging with movies in the amazing media room. What a gorgeous and well appointed home and outdoor space. We would definitely come back here. Thanks to Pat and Mauricio for being so helpful.

  Though our stay was during a winter blizzard, it didn't affect how great the house was. Our two dogs had a great time running around the backyard in the snow! We even drove out to Montauk Point one day. It was cold, but beautiful. Local shops and restaurants are fantastic and though it is quieter in the winter, it's a nice change from the bustle during the summer season. The nearby grocery store has everything you need to stock the fridge and pantry--which we definitely needed during the blizzard! The house itself is full of charm. There are little details about the decor and lighting that make it that much more special. We loved the statues outside! I am recommending it to everyone we know!

  We were the lucky first family to rent Valmya and we can't wait to have the opportunity to return. The house has a welcoming spirit and the owners have not missed a thing when it comes to comfort and warmth. From the extra comfy beds, to the "has everything" kitchen and the amazing heated pool and grounds(there is even a Koi pond with a hammock close by for relaxing and napping). And the best part is that it is a dog friendly house-our golden retriever, Willie, felt right at home! What a peaceful place to spend any amount of time. A true gem of a house.
