Vintners Villa is connected from every room with the vineyards, huge skies, and on the west side of the house with the vineyard pond.
A bridge leads from the deck to the pond, encircled by a ledge suitable for seating with views over the sparkling water. From the pond’s north end views reach over the water to the toe of the Mayacams mountains, a classic Sonoma Valley view unsurpassed from any other vantage point in the area. It provides a spectacular setting for the exchanging of marriage vows. Views over lush mature vineyards are unobstructed; sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking.
The three thousand square foot house boasts arts and crafts touches throughout, from the stained glass entry to handcrafted cabinetry in the large kitchen, two full bathrooms and two spacious one half baths.
Prepare a gourmet feast in the fully equipped kitchen accented by granite countertops, stainless steal appliances, quality cookware, flatware, and dishes - or treat yourself to a personal chef or caterer. The kitchen and adjacent formal dining room, with large cherry craftsman table, boast views of the vineyard pond. The breakfast room and living room look over the vineyards to the mountain ranges beyond.
French doors open from the breakfast room, dining room, master bedroom and large family room to the deck, which leads to the lake like pond. The master bedroom, with panoramic views, a blazing fire and cozy sitting area, whirlpool tub, and luxurious bed may be difficult to leave, even after a wonderful night’s sleep.
Luxuriate in sensual 700 count linens beneath comfortable down comforters in all three of the villa’s luscious bedrooms. A full bath and one half bath are located in a private alcove just outside the doors of dual bedrooms, near the expansive family room.
Sink into comfortable seating in the family room, surrounding a large flat screed television, stereo system and fireplace. Furnishings include a convertible sofa. Step just outside into a soothing hot tub, overlooking the pond, also accessible from the master bedroom.
The living room features a leather sofa double sofa bed and comfy leather chairs, with vintage arts and crafts touches.
Dine on the deck overlooking the pond. Lounge on the float - or take a swim. The pond offers and lake like setting with wonderful vineyard and mountain views, a kayak, and even a small beach. The lawn to The Villa's south connects with ground with a large lap pool and spa.

The Vineyards and The Wine
Vineyard designated varietals are grown at Vineyard Station Ranch in the Sonoma Coast Appellation, a specific slice of land which is warmer that the Carneros and cooler than Sonoma Valley. Nineteen of the ranch’s 26 acres are planted in Merlot, Malbec and Chardonnay, grapes perfectly suited to the climate and soil. These high quality grapes are shepherded to produce limited edition wines in small handcrafted lots, all of which are consistent medal winners.
Enjoy temporary wine club membership and discounts at the Fichtenberg Tasting Room, located at The Mercato on Sonoma Plaza. Join the wine club and you will be entitled to future lodging discounts at Vineyard Station Ranch.
Vintners Villa exemplifies the perfect marriage between the grape grower and vintner’s personal shelter with his passion – the land, the grapes, and the hand-crafted wines which capture the essence of this special location.
Vineyard Station Ranch Vintner's Villa is the perfect choice of upscale residences to celebrate a special occasion in the very heart of the real wine country for your party of up to ten.

Great house for our low key bachelorette party
Great house for our low key bachelorette party
This house was amazing! It is huge, homey and beautiful. 8 old college friends came together for a bachelorette party and we had the best time! I was a little nervous to rent due to lack of reviews, but the pictures and the vineyard location made me go for it -- no regrets whatsoever! It is also really convenient to get to Sonoma. Highly reccomend this house!

Recommended for: Girls getaway.
The pics actually don't do the property justice. The house is very well laid out for with lots of space for groups and comfortable space for all. The kitchen is very nice, and setup with everything you need for a wonderful time. We made late, lazy breakfasts and sat and enjoyed the view, then went out for the evenings for dinners. House is spotless with nice fluffly towels, furniture was very comfortable with beautiful views in all directions. The beds (even the futon) were comfortable in all rooms. Two living rooms on opposite ends of the house are perfect for sharing space (kids and adults) or families sharing the house, etc. We were four gals, so having three bathrooms was great! I will be back for future uses. My only suggestion.....I do recommend, some cushioned furniture to better enjoy the beautiful deck!

About the owner: Winemaker and grape grower, Art Fichtenberg, your Vineyard Station Ranch host, brings knowledge of the land, the surrounding wine country, the area’s history, and the local community, to his unique 26-acre property. Art launched his career as a grammar school teacher, moving on to become a top real estate sales person, developer, financial consultant, vineyard owner and winemaker. He founded the Sonoma Valley Leadership program and guided development of The Sonoma Valley Teen Center. He now takes great pride in opening his ranch to wine country visitors. The ranch’s vineyards, incredible views, one hundred year old olive trees, bocce ball court, pond, swimming pool, and event space for intimate gatherings make the property’s much more than simply outstanding houses in a great location. Art developed them, as with every project with which he as been associated, including The Carneros Inn and The Mercato on historic Sonoma Plaza, with an eye to quality. The location is ideal for those who desire to stay in the heart of the vineyards. Perfectly situated in the southeast corner of the Sonoma Coast AVA, (American Viticultural Area), resting below the southern toe of the Mayacamas Mountain Range, north of Carneros, and west of Napa Valley, the ranch is nestled in southeastern Sonoma Valley. The vineyards are influenced by the maritime climate from San Pablo Bay, as well as the fog-laden breezes, which blow across Sonoma Mountain from the Pacific to the west. This location is ideal for producing the highest quality grapes. Wines are handcrafted and made in very small quantities to ensure the highest possible quality. As a guest of Vineyard Station Ranch you will enjoy temporary membership in the Fichtenberg Vineyards Wine Club and may arrange a winemaker dinner with Art. Whatever your desire may be – to cook in, dine out, or enjoy a winemaker dinner - it is Art’s goal to make certain you have the best experience possible.
