Recently updated with fresh paint, appliances, and carpet, this house/cottage is like new but with a vintage feel. Enjoy your views of the head of the harbor from the deck, sunporch, or kitchen window. Bring your kayak to launch from our Inn, which is directly on the water. All of our guests receive 10% discounts on meals at our restaurant, Amore Bistro Italiano, as well as our retail shop in Wiscasset, Gallery One Eleven. This location is close enough to town for a nice stroll and then retire for the evening without the hustle and bustle of tourist activity.

Not as relaxing as one would like. There are no lounge chairs on the deck for relaxing and reading while looking at the water. Excessive road noise when sitting on the balcony. Balcony is unkempt and overgrown with vines. The bathroom is very small. No place to set your toiletries. The shower trickles water and does not flow enough water to rinse soap off. I had to turn off the shower and rinse the soap off under the tub faucet. This home smells like cat urine very strongly in the living room. The medicine cabinet was filthy, the kitchen drawer had a dead fly in it, coffee mug had lipstick marks on it. Left us feeling that the place is unclean. Very limited cell phone signals for AT&T and Sprint. Sprint can be used in roam position. I only mention this because the house has no land line phone for emergency use. I have rented thru VRBO for years -Italy, Colorado, Canada, California, and Las Vegas. This is by far the worst experience I have had renting a vacation home. Owner does not provide a contract. The owner is very rude. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this location.
