Located five miles from Gulf Beaches and two-and-one-half miles from Palma Sola Bay, this home has it all. Relax by the private pool that overlooks plenty of tropical plants and fruit trees to give you the deserved privacy. The pool is enclosed in a screened lanai with sitting area and a child-safety fence has been added around the pool.
If you are not familiar with Bradenton-Sarasota, you are in for a treat. One of Florida's and America's favorite vacation destinations, the area is chock-full of things to see and do. There's also plenty of 'Old Florida' ambiance and history here, carefully preserved and cherished by a populace proud of their heritage. Beaches, boating, golf, dining, shopping, theater -- there's always something exciting going on in the Bradenton-Sarasota area. Sophisticated or casual, upscale or economical, it's all just minutes away from Village Green.
The City of Sarasota, with its active downtown and arts and theater district, still has a friendly, small town feel. Luxurious Longboat Key's manicured beach resorts also offer world-class tennis, golf and dining. Laid-back Siesta Key has the feel of a tropical island, with sugar white sand officially designated 'the whitest, finest beach sand in the world.' The area beaches are world-famous for their beautiful white sugar sand. In addition to mainland beaches, there are beaches on Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key, two of the area's barrier islands, which are connected to the mainland by causeways. In all there are ten named public beaches within a few minutes drive of Village Green and many more miles of beaches stretch all along the coast.
The home is over 2000 square feet and has a private, master suite with full bath, walk-in closets, TV/VCR, and is located at the far end of the home away from the additional two, spacious bedrooms. There is a formal living room with an added sitting area with pocket doors outside of the master suite. You can close off the rest of the home and enjoy some alone time if you are with children or another couple. The formal living room has a TV/DVd/VCR and neutral decor.
The kitchen is located in the center of the home complete with a flat-top stove and everything is provided. There is a breakfast bar and a study area. The family room is located off the kitchen and has a queen-size sofa sleeper and a TV/VCR. The dining area is off the family room and there is a service area from the kitchen. The dining area overlooks the pool and landscaped yard.
The home is complete with everything you could think of and is very clean, newer windows, newer roof, newer carpet and newer appliances. All that is missing is you. The home is perfect for multiple families and guests. There are four couches and one pulls out to a sofa sleeper.
The home is near shopping, restaurants, Saint Armands Circle, Longboat Key, Holmes Beach, Lido Beach, Anna Marie Island, and more. Bradenton/Sarasota Airport is 20 minutes away, Tampa International is 45 minutes away, about two hours from Disney and the Everglades, and one-and-one-half hours from Naples. There are over 30 golf courses in a 15 mile radius. Tennis courts and Bradenton Country Club nearby with popular sports complex near as well.

We enjoyed the location and the home was clean and the perfect size for our children and grandchildren to visit. We loved the pool and the beaches are nearby. We would like a music player of some kind, but we managed without. There was plenty to do in the area and the neighbors are delightful. We will be back.

About the owner: We live in East Manatee County and are nearby to assist if needed. Originally, from Ohio we fell in love with the area and the climate and made Manatee County our full-time home in 2006. Prior to living here we spent our summers at this home and love the area, the house and the neighborhood.
Why the Owner Chose Village Green:
We spent summers at the house and the school year in Ohio from 2002-2006. We moved to the area in 2006 and made East Manatee our home. We still take mini trips to the house to enjoy West Manatee and the beaches. When family and friends visit we use the house a great deal because it is where everyone wants to be, in the middle of it all. We plan to retire in this home once our kids are grown.
