  Paradise welcomed our family!!! Sapphire Bay West at Crystal Cove was truly a Beautiful & Breathtaking location just as it was described by it's owner, Jerry. Condo unit was situated literally by Sapphire Beach with it's welcoming blue/green waters. Condo was perfect for our family, unit was well maintained, very roomy, and had everything needed at your finger tips. Besides the beautiful beach we also took advantage of the quiet pool which was very big with lots of lounge chairs and tables. We also used the tennis courts right next to the pool. Highly recommend eating at Duffy's Love Shack (delicious food & drinks) and Fattys (quick lunch) in Red Hook. For a fun filled evening with entertainment and all you can eat Caribbean food, must go to Iggies at Bolongo Bay. It was definitely memorable and you won't regret it. Coki Beach has the clearest blue water and right next to it is Coral World (similar to an aquarium) which the children enjoyed. A ferry trip from Red Hook to St. John is also a must where we ate breakfast at Jakes (very economical) and dinner at the Banana Deck simply delicious. Then off to Trunk Bay where you are literally in a magical paradise, the beach is to die for with clear blue water and white sand (it was a hit with the children). I can go on and on, but I left the best for last, Jerry was definitely accommodating to all of our needs and very prompt with responding to our inquiries and we loved all the write-up and helpful tips he provided about St. Thomas. In addition, our hats off to Norma who was so gracious with her services and made sure we had our groceries at the condo upon our arrival and checked in with us from time to time to make sure all was well. We definitely recommend this Piece of Paradise to all vacationers. THANK YOU JERRY..YOUR FRIENDS FROM NEW YORK CITY...

  Good support from Jerry the owner. He answered all my questions quickly and accurately. He also has a little orientation pamphlet that was very helpful. The condo itself was actually bigger than I was expecting from the pictures. Big bedroom and roomy living room - two bathrooms. We used both pull-out couches and everyone (myself, wife, two kids - 10 & 13) slept comfortably. The pull-out beds had typically thin mattresses, but there was an extra mattress available to double-up on one of the beds. For the other bed, we put the couch cushions under the mattress for added padding. I thought this made both pull-out beds equally comfortable, but my kids fought over who got the double mattress. Either the double mattress is especially comfortable or my kids just like to fight. The beach is amazing! Perfect white sand, gentle wave action, not too crowded, and incredibly peaceful. The grape trees (is that what they're called?) provide some much needed shade. There is a reef off to one side for snorkeling and some sea grass that provides habitat for sea turtles. The view of the other islands is superb. Diane is the beach attendant and is friendly and helpful. It's also close to the Sapphire Bay Marina. We walked to the marina twice to catch a fishing charter (Double Header) and a sail/snorkel trip (Nightwind). Both were great. One drawback: There's a burger stand on the beach open for lunch, but no restaurant nearby for dinner. Sure, you can cook in the condo (and we grilled freshly-caught fish on the Weber - fantastic!), but it's your vacation, and eating out is part of the experience. It would be nice to have one within walking distance. When it came to rental car/taxis, we debated for a while before deciding to rent a car. I'm glad we did. Certainly if you stick to the beach/marina and cook your own dinners, you won't ever need to leave. But we found ourselves running around almost every day: heading to the grocery store, going out to a restaurant, checking out some touristy thing. Having a car was a big help. I would absolutely stay here again. It was a great condo with everything we needed and a fantastic location.

  We had a great time in St. Thomas and loved staying at Crystal Cove! The unit was exactly as described in the listing and the photos were all accurate. The end unit was close to the beach with a great view off the porch, plus it was quiet, which we loved. Having all the necessary kitchen utensils was great, as was having use of the grill. The snorkel equipment and floats, plus the chairs and the cooler, were a great bonus. The owner had recently purchased a new TV as well, which was just the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to return!

  This condo was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, spacious, a gorgeous view and a couple steps from the beach. Not to mention the convenience of being next to Red hook for dining and entertainment. Will definitely try to make it back next year!

  My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! The condo is an end unit on the second floor and a few yards from the beach, with a great view from the condo of the ocean. The condo itself was spacious, and it was really convenient to have two bathrooms. The pull-out couch in the living room worked well for one to sleep on, as was the king bed in the bedroom. There were lots of utensils, dishware, and cookware. The air conditioning was great to have. We used the snorkel equipment, which came in really handy. Having a car was important to us so we could explore the island, and parking was not an issue. It was also nice to have laundry facilities on the property, which we used ($3 to wash and $3 to dry per load). The owner was great to work with and provided a really nice summary of things to do and see. All in all, it was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to others.

  My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Crystal Cove. Sapphire Beach is beautiful, the snorkeling is good, access to St. John is very easy, and the condo owners/other renters are very friendly and make you feel like you are right at home!

  We recently stayed here and were very happy with the condo. This is a very cute place and ideal for a couple like us that were on the beach non stop and always going. Perfect little walk to the beach and very well kept, it really had virtually everything you could need to relax and enjoy the island.

  I have been to the Caribbean. Wonderful scenes, hotels and beaches. By all means this experience was the best. Words nor pictures cannot describe the feeling of peace and tranquility. Now leaving this Paradise and back to Earth. Hmm. Let's see. The listing is accurate and the photos are just a fragment of true beauty. A joyous surprise to the eyes and soul. I feel torn and selfish as I choose not to recommend this property. The main reason??? I feel compelled in keeping this property as my own secret. However all I do with my family and friends is talk highly of this experience and how I look forward to going back!

  Sapphire beach is the place to go in St. Thomas. No cruise ship traffic or T-shirt vendors. Awesome snorkelling. Sea turtles in the sea grass on the right, fish in the reef to the left. This condo is as close as you can get. Perfect...

  We were there during Halloween and it was unbelievable. My wife and I with our 2 boys(10&11) absolutely loved it. It was the best snorkeling I have ever done in my life. We saw over 50 big sea turtles (my wife got to pet one) a bunch of stingrays and even saw a spotted eagle ray. The reef is unbelievable with fish everywhere, and its all a couple hundred feet from the condo. The condo is furnished with everything you need and more. The master bedroom is big and comfortable with 2 bathrooms so you don't have to worry about showers.The owners also have snorkeling equipment and beach stuff to use with a variety of movies to watch if you want. We spent all day at the beach or played shuffleboard. Your only minutes away from the store to replenish your food and alcohol. We took our boys to Jamaica this year and they liked St. Thomas better. You can see St. Johns and many other Islands from the beach. You can get food on the beach from local restaurants that advertise on the beach and then bring it to you. We saw at least 18 Iguanas that love pizza crust and will pose for pictures and they all live in the trees right next to the condo. The grounds are kept up immaculately and there are beautiful tropical birds on the grounds also. This is the perfect place to get away from reality for awhile and spend some beach time with the kids or with the spouse. We will go back when we can. I have been to a lot of Caribbean islands before, but this was the best vacation we had in Paradise.
