We spent 4 nights here and had a great time. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold, but the condo was perfect for our stay. Very clean and in generally good repair, and very well equipped. We couldn't take advantage of the deck or the pond or pool due to the weather, but it all looked very inviting. The drive to Charleston and the plantations for sightseeing was very convenient and easy, probably about 10-15 minute drive to Charleston. Denise was very easy to deal with and answered all our questions promptly before we signed the contract. The pictures accurately reflect the condition of the property, which was great. We loved having our "own home" to go back to after a day of sightseeing. Grocery stores, pharmacy, and a great little restaurant were within a few minutes drive from the property.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time and the condo is super convenient to everything. Its quiet and clean, and had everything we needed. The only complaint was the TV. It didnt have any good childrens channels. So I am glad I brought some kids movies along with me. We only had time to visit Patriots Point, and Isles of Palms beach, which was awsome! Next time we will definitely stay longer. We look forward to visiting again. Thanks.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What a fun week! Thanks for a great visit at your condo. We came down to visit some friends. Your place was great, we have two kids 4 1/2 and 18 months and your home worked perfect for the four of us. I fear that the ducks and the turtles will starve when we leave. We were constantly feeding them. (: Thank you for the fresh flowers and the fruit. Wi-fi would have been nice, but at the same time it was nice to be away from email for the week. We will be back soon and spread the word of your fab place. Thanks again Smith Family (Cary, NC)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This was a great fun girls's weekend. Charleston is beautiful and a great place for sight-seeing. Walking shoes is a must. Make sure you dine at Jestine's Kitchen on Meeting Street. The food is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. Jestine lived to be 112 so trying some of her recipes can't hurt. Enjoy your time here. Raquel From AtlantaDid you find this review helpful? We really enjoyed staying here for our first visit to South Carolina! The owner was very easy to work with and the condo was just as it was pictured... clean and well stocked. We had our two boys (ages 2 and 10) with us and they were very comfortable and loved feeding all the turtles, ducks and fish! It was nice to come in from the beach and throw our things in the washer/dryer to be all ready for the next day, all while relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine. The condo is close to many grocery stores, easy drive to the beaches, downtown, Patriots Point, etc, etc... We can't say enough! On top of it, because of another reviewers comment about the railing spindles being far apart, the owner put up some barriers to keep our little one safe before we got there! Thank you! We can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thanks so much for a wonderful family vacation! Your place is lovely, and just as it looks in pictures! We had a great stay and our kids (18months and 4 1/2 yrs) really had a great time too! The ducks and turtles were their favorite and I fear they will starve now that we are not there to feed them crackers twice a day! Thank you for the lovely flowers and fresh fruit bowl. I loved how you had everything that we needed for the week. It was nice to not have to pack beach chairs and towels, what you have there at the condo works great! We went to Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island to play on the beach, easy and quick drives from the condo. Got to spend time with a friend too who lives on the Battery in downtown Charleston and it was super easy to get there, we were there in a 15 min or less drive. My only advice it to let renters who have small children know that the wooden slats on the deck are not super close together, so a child needs to be watched 100% of the time if they are out on the deck. The view is great though of the pond with the animals! Thanks again and we hope to return soon! -Blake and Becca Cary, NCRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We have added more slats on the balcony for the children.

Really enjoyed our stay at your condo. The weather was very warm so we mostly spent our time at Isle of Palms and Folly Beach. Enjoyed a stroll around the old Mt. Pleasant neighborhood on evening. Loved the turtle and fish which came swimming over as soon as we went on the deck. We to The Wreck and Watersedge for dinner. Visited the Santee Canal to view some alligators and heron. We look forward to returning to your well-appointed comfortable condo in this peaceful setting. Thank you for your thoughtful welcoming gestures of flowers, fruit, and water in the fridge. Charleston is a vibrant town and we met so many people along the way both local residents and people "from away." Favorite spots included Magnolia Plantation, Audubon Swamp walk, a carriage ride with the "Classic Carriage Company," concert at the Circular Church at 150 Meeting St, Fort Sumpter Boat tour (from Patriots Point) and just plain meandering the street and alleys, The Aiken -Rhett House and the Battery, also interesting. For a quieter stroll, check out the pier next to the Visitor's Info Bureau in Mt. Pleasant(under the bridge) about a mile away. Swings, coffee!! Conveniently located is Bodacious Bagels in the plaza from CVS at the end of the frontage rd. (going towards Charleston) Thanks again Ron and PatriciaDid you find this review helpful?
