Expansive views, privacy, and an open, airy design inspired by nature make Ciboney the perfect island retreat for entertaining or just plain relaxing. With it's own bayside dock and generous porch, Ciboney is an island paradise ideal for honeymooners, families and groups alike.
This gracious home sleeps six to eight guests in three separate bedrooms: A large master bedroom with king size bed, private bath, patio and views; a downstairs guest room with twin beds (can be joined), private bath, and dressing room; a large, loft-like upstairs guest room with twin beds, private bath, and expansive views of the bay. A sitting room with pull-out couch adjoins the upstairs loft for additional sleeping. Each bedroom is air-conditioned.
Ciboney is equipped with a full kitchen, large adjoining dining area and living room, as well as a family room with bar, game table, and comfortable seating. The large, covered porch showcases sweeping views of the bay and is the perfect setting for dining, games, or simply enjoying a beautiful sunset.
Ciboney is situated down a long, private drive on the south side of Harbour Island, tucked deep into the lush landscape away from the road or passers-by. The home’s expansive porch overlooks a lush oasis of native plants and trees, and backs up to a world class view of the bay. Guests can enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters right off Ciboney’s private dock or, take a five minute walk down the road and through a path to enjoy one of the worlds most fabulous ocean beaches. Note for Boaters: Ciboney's dock is equipped to handle vessels with a draft of 4’ or less.
While it is tough to resist spending the day relaxing amongst the palms, banana trees and bougainvillea that decorate the landscaped grounds of this secluded island villa, a walk into historic Dunmoretown takes about fifteen-minutes by foot, and five minutes by cart.

Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: Our family purchased Ciboney in 2001 and have enjoyed countless visits there from our home state of Connecticut. We were renters of Ciboney before we were owners! Our favorite activities are fly fishing in the flats, long walks on the beach, snorkeling off the dock, eating at the Landing, drinking at Gusty's, and enjoying a Kalik on the porch.
Why the Owner Chose Romora Bay:
We were renters for many years before we decided to buy a home on Harbour Island. We fell in love with the island instantly and when an opportunity to own came our way, we couldn't resist! Our family loves to fish, swim and snorkel - so it was an instant fit. We also love the historic architecture, privacy and natural beauty of the island.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Ciboney enjoys incredible privacy with it's own private dock, small beach, and AMAZING views! Ciboney has a fabulous porch where renters can enjoy dinner and drinks and look out onto the bay. The swimming right off the dock is fabulous. Though we enjoy privacy, Ciboney is only a short walk from the ocean beach (about 5 mins) and from downtown Dunmore Town (15 mins, less in a golf cart).
