Thank you so much for the use of your beach home for our 50th wedding anniversary. We had such a great time with our children and grandchildren. We saw dolphins, fed the pelicans and seagulls. The seagulls ate out of our hands. Had one storm that produced fireworks!

Thanks for a great vacation! Our family(ies) had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. From the comfortable beds, the great porches, the refreshing outside shower, to the well-stocked kitchen, double tub and CLEAN house, everything was just as it should be and more. We loved cooking and eating together, looking for shells and sharks teeth, watching the pelicans, fishing from and walking on the pier, playing in the water, reading in the hammock, working jigsaw puzzles and playing competitive scrabble! We loved the house. We've stayed in 8 different houses in Kure over the years and this is by far the cleanest.

This vacation house exceeded all our expectations! We had the entire family under one roof for several days and had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. the house itself was not missing anything and the access to the beach was amazing. Thank you for making all of this possible -- would not change a thing -- other than the fact we had to leave eventually.

The house was more than we expected, everything we needed was there. It looked better than the photos. It was a short walk to the beach and the beach was never crowded, the ocean was great. My younger family wanted to stay forever. The house was very clean when we arrived and I hope we left it clean enough.

With this being my first time to North Carolina I didn't know what to expect. I have to admit I had the most relaxing and fun filled vaction ever. The blue dolphin was the perfect place for us. With 9 adults, 2 kids, 1 toddlers, and a baby. The layout worked well. I have to say that it's nice to rent a place that had eveything you needed. There was chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. There is even a bbq that we used a few times. The blue dolphin was very clean and well kept. Renting a house on the beach was great. Waking up to the sun rising over the water was breath taking. Being from the west coast that was a first for me. I even got to see a couple of dolphins. Taking walks to the pier and chatting with locals was fun. We even took the kids to the carnival on beach. My 2 1/2 year old loved it. The beach was a usually hangout for all of us. Swimming , shell/shark teeth hunting , boogie boarding, and just enjoying the sounds of the ocean. We took a trip to the Aquarium which was 5 minutes from the house. We even took a walk down to Fort Fisher. The house is surrounded with plenty of fun things to do. I would rent this house again in a heart beat. Thanks again Blue dophin you've made great memories and a lasting impression on us.

This house was perfect. It had everything one would need for the beach. I would return in a heartbeat. This was even better than Hawaii. We had 13 guests and we all had enough space. The baby gate was a super plus! Thanks. We enjoyed all the wonderful sunrises. It was a first for me, being from the west coast. This was my first time to North Carolina and you've made a lasting impression. Thanks a million. The house was so clean and the decks were so useful. I'm going home to tell everyone "The Blue Dolphin is the place to be."

We really appreciate how well-equipped the house was! We were pleasantly surprised to see a well-stocked kitchen, lots of beach toys, board games and even a baby chair and baby gate - how thoughtful! We had a fantastic time with lots of new memories. We can't wait until next year!

This, sadly, is our last year coming. The beach is a great memory. This is our eleventh year coming! We love it here and I hope to bring my family some day! Kure Beach rox my sox (and shoes). This house is filled with unforgettable moments. I will always remember coming here. Oh, and the pier and Squigleys! And my favorite, the pier house for breakfast! I hope to see this book soon! Bye!

From our paper guestbook: What a wonderful place to stay. We began the week with a Loggerhead turtle laying her eggs in front of the house. We called and a lady came out to confirm. She uncovered the eggs and allowed us to take pictures. That was amazing. Our boys enjoyed the surf and nightly runs to the pier for ice cream. You have a beautiful home! The house is so spacious we didn't feel cramped a bit. This is the best place we've found with amenities for 5 active boys. Loved it!! Thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Dolphin. It couldn't have been more accommodating especially having two families of very young children. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect. The separation of families at night and early morning was great! (Half were early risers - the others, not so early) Having a small kitchen on the top level was perfect for us too. We feel very fortunate to have found the Blue Dolphin on VRBO and would highly recommend it. Choosing a home on the ocean was another good choice of ours. I'm so glad we didn't choose a place 2 or 3 streets in.

The Blue Dolphin is our FAVORITE place to stay along the North Carolina coast! The house has fantastic views of the ocean, and we especially love the sound of the surf keeping us company all day long. The house has a great layout. If you're cooking in the kitchen, you're still a part of the action in the living room; and yet you can find some privacy in any of the bedrooms or on one of the two decks with full view of the ocean. You may even spot a dolphin or two when you're outside on the decks! The only downside to the Blue Dolphin is leaving it at the end of vacation!

We spent a week at the Blue Dolphin, we found the house to be very clean, comfortable and a great location. The town is quiet and friendly. The beach, better than the Jersey shore!

I spent a week here in July 2006 and enjoyed myself immensely. It had a marvelous view of the ocean and I went to sleep listening to the sound of the surf. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I could possibly need to enjoy my visit. I hope to visit again in the near future.

What a great vacation house. The place is decorated beautifully, fun not stuffy. It’s easy to keep clean and the decks are fabulous! Lot’s to do in the area, which is a plus. Very reasonably priced, we’ll be back!
