2 Bedroom Downtown Lovely Condo
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
This condo is Truly Downtown, a short walk from so many restaurants, shops, and music venues. Yet it is pulled off the road just enough to allow a quiet respite on Flat Creek at the Brookside Condo complex, with its shared lawn at the bottom of saddle butte. You'll want a car for trips to the grocery store and ski village, although a shuttle can also take you there, just a half block away. The condo was remodeled in 2003 and 2008, with wood floors, granite counter tops, new washer dryer, shower window, stainless steel cookware, and is always kept clean with fresh linens. You'll pretty much have everything you need, including wi-fi and access to a desktop computer with printer.

My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Jackson Hole and it was probably one of the best vacations we have ever experienced. A lot had to do with the God-given beauty of the Teton Valley but equally important was staying in such a warm, convenient and comfortable location. Rachel is just great...she provided anything that we asked for or even "hinted" that we might need. We will definitely return and will stay in her condo again. We highly recommend this condo to anyone that wants to be in a quiet location that is just a few blocks from the downtown area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We loved staying in this condo. It was clean, extremely comfortable, centrally located but yet out of the way. We had everything we needed. We also loved being across the street from a great yoga studio. Rachel was unparalleled in her hospitality. We mostly spent time on the Teton hiking trails and not much time in Jackson, but we did utilize the kitchen quite a bit and furnished it by shopping at the organic grocery store in town. We also visited the wildlife museum on our way out of town. We had an unbelievable stay --Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why pay $$$$ for a hotel room when you can pay the same or less for a beautiful 2 bedroom condo in a very clean, quiet, creekside complex? We stayed in mid June with our two boys and loved it. Close to downtown, lovely creek that runs next to the property, which we found to be very relaxing one afternoon while we had a picnic lunch. Rachel, the owner was very easy to work with, was very friendly, accommodating and honest. We plan to return to Jackson and Yellowstone during the summer of 2012 and plan on renting this condo again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

When skiing we usually stay at Teton Village but for a hiking trip to Grand Teton NP in September we wanted to stay in the town of Jackson and were very pleased to find Rachel's condo. It is in a quiet area next to a creek at one corner of town but easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. The condo was very comfortable, clean and attractive (with some interesting touches and attractive artwork as befits an architect/owner). We enjoyed our stay a great deal and would certainly consider returning. Rachel is extremely personable and helpful. It has more the feeling of someone's home than many impersonal just-for-rent condos. We made two visits to our favorite Jackson restaurant--the Snake River Grill--and had some meals in the condo. Also liked the friendly Jackson Whole Grocer much better than the impersonal and vastly oversized Albertsons supermarket.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Myself & a friend stayed at Rachel's Condo in Feb of 2011 while on a Ski holiday. The property was perfect for our needs, which were: a comfortable home away from home, close to amenities in Jackson as we didnt have a car. Its a pleasent 5min walk to the centre of Jackson Hole. Close to the Ski shuttle bus which is 2mins walk away. This was great for when we returned after a long days skiing. The supermarket was even on the route back from the ski-fields, we opted for a taxi from there to home as had a mountain of shopping, $10inc tip! Rachel was fantastic to deal with, even offered us a couple of days extra for free. As we say in Australia, too easy mate! Thanks Rachel we had a great time there.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a great place to stay in Jackson and quite reasonable given the cost of hotels in Jackson. My husband and I stayed here for eight days in July/August 2010 and enjoyed it immensely. Rachel, the owner, is easy to work with and her son, Joel, is cute as a button. The condo is well equipped and had everything we needed with the exception of a toaster which we went out and bought and donated to the condo. It was great to be able to cook our own breakfast and pack picnic lunches for our treks through the Grand Tetons. Lots of great restaurants. TripAdvisor has a wonderful list and you can't go wrong with their reviews. Thanks, Rachel, for a great stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.

I traveled to Jackson in September of 2010 with two friends.. We stayed in this condo for a week. This owner is a pleasure to work with and her condo was great!!! It was so very nice to be within walking distance of the square. She had everything we needed available for us. I would definitely stay here again!!! Thanks Rachel for helping to make our trip memorable!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Yes the kitchen configuration makes it tough to accommodate a larger table. I will look for a longer, skinny one which seats 4 comfortably and try to have it in place by mid june. Thank you for that input

I grew up in Jackson and took my niece and nephew for a visit in June 2010 and we stayed in this property. It's close enough to walk to the downtown area shops, restaurants and attractions, yet tucked in a quiet corner away from the summer crowds with easy access to roads leading to Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. One drawback is that it's an upstairs unit with only stair access so it is not handicap accessible and would not be recommended for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs. If you have more than 3 people, the kitchen table was very small so keep that in mind if you are renting. We enjoyed our stay there.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: I have replaced the small round kitchen table with a larger rectangular table and more elegant stools. thanks for the input

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: My Name is Rachel. I am a skier, hiker, and Architect who has lived in Jackson over a decade. I began doing vacation rentals on my condo to create a college savings fund for my son, Joel. We love our town! So many amenities for a town its size. We hope you do too.
Why the Owner Chose Jackson:
I really support the idea of a pedestrian environment - one where you can ditch your car and enjoy a place's local character
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
For a reasonably priced, but more than comfortable place to stay super down town, it can't be beat!
