This lovely executive home is a one of a kind historic landmark in a very upscale residential area known as The Grove here in Nassau, Bahamas. This 4 bed 4.5 bath 2 story colonial home sits on 1/2 acre lot with lush tropical gardens and pool. Every vista of the house over looks the pool and garden and HG TV can take a tip or two from this lovely island getaway.It is a wonderful winter escape for rest and respite. However this property is also in walking distance to the beach....be it either Goodman's Bay or Saunder's beach and an even shorter brisk walk to the #10 bus which will take you into Cable beach where all the action is in 6 mins and downtown in 12 mins give or take.You may also discover that many a city and country tour frequent this quiet established area for the beautiful homes and gardens of Nassau.
This is a traditional home with separate living, dining, den and pool rooms which lends itself beautifully to entertaining and big enough for everyone to have their own private space. I can assure you that once you have stayed here you will not want to leave.Just remember that you can make this your Bahamian home every year.The sweep of the curved stairwell greets you in the marble foyer and the terrazo flooring throughout the living and dining rooms fit the mix with the old world charm. There is a fireplace and no there is no need to use it. The bedrooms are all on the second floor except for the pool room which also affords guests access to a bathroom without entering the house.
Another nice feature is that the owner is only a phone call away and is available for ease of reference should you need assistance in any way. Also we can meet and greet you at the airport where taxi service to the property can be arranged in advance. This is in addition to the option of increased maid service on early request at an additional rate.
There are many gracious aspects to this home and included in this very modest price is once a week maid service but what is priceless about this home is the memories that you will create and the opportunity for couples, extended families and friends to reconnect. It also serves well as homebase for excursions into the family islands, bonefishing, private flying, yachting, jet skiing, horse back riding, golfing and gambling. It is also a great spot for weddings and honeymoons just to name a few.

We loved staying at Angela's (the owner) house. Lots of room, 4 bedrooms, modern, functional kitchen. We loved the pool and the fact that there's a bathroom very close to the pool. We had breakfast on the patio every morning, very convenient. Angela is always just a phone call away if any questions, she even greeted us at the airport and escorted us to the house. The house is close to stores, beaches, downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. So Thank you Angela!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
