  We had an extended stay of 5 months at Casa Harley and found the casita to be well equipped and maintained. As well, it is in a very good location as the town is quite walkable and cabs are very plentiful and affordable. It's a two minute walk to the Andador where you can walk along the sea to Playa Principal ... or a 5 minute walk to the steps leading down to the beach of beautiful Playa Manzanillo. The casita is conveniently located poolside however the patio provides privacy as well as shade. The upstairs palapa provides a nice breezy place to gather and relax. Our stay was very relaxing and stress free and we will definitely be returning.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  We loved staying at Casa Harley for 7 weeks! The place is really nice and the neighbors are super cool too. The kitchen had everything I needed to create homemade Mexican meals too! The area is pretty quiet which was great for our 8 month old to get her naps in. It's located just steps from the Mirador, which is the beginning of the Andador (walkway along the sea to Playa Principal). The staff (Alain, Fila, and Vickie) are top notch as well and very friendly. We found a wonderful nanny (her sister, Flor) through Vickie the housekeeper. The place was thoroughly cleaned twice a week which is included. The area felt really safe to me. Just a 5 min walk to Carrizalio Beach which was beautiful. Love it! Will stay here again if we make it back to Puerto!

  "We had a great time in Puerto Escondido; enjoyed many beautiful beaches, visited Mazunte: snorkeling, swimming, surfing, sun, wind, rain, SuperChe, Mercadao (market), strolling on Zicatela beach, delicious dinner at Pascale, nuying kitchy souvenir stuff at the "andador" from Pueto, etc. etc. etc. (and lots of fun with the family from Casa 3). Great house, fantastic pool, we'll be back!" (from guest book in casa as we have just listed this on VRBO in Jan 2011)
