Stunning House with pool and three en-suite double bedrooms on the outskirts of a beautiful Provencal village. Very large open plan sitting room, dining room and beautiful kitchen with lime stone floors and wonderful views from the floor to ceiling windows. The house is finished to a very high standard and it is situated in beautiful countryside. Truly a house with a wonderful ambience.
The large open plan living area has a wood burning stove and is equipped with flat screen T.V., D.V.D. player, Wi-Fi, docking system for I Pod, and a C.D player. The sitting room opens on to a shaded dining area. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. One of the bedrooms is accessed from outside, via a stone staircase and has a small balcony with good views.
It has a pretty garden, mainly fruit and olive trees, with an outside eating area, barbecue and swimming pool. There are wonderful views of The Mont Ventoux. It is a twelve-minute walk from the village, or a one-minute drive.
The village of Bedoin, with it’s bars, restaurants, and famous Monday market is well situated to explore this beautiful corner of Provence. Here you will find walled market villages, and beautiful cities, such as nearby Avignon and Aix en Provence. There are the Roman wonders of Orange, Vaison La Romaine, and Arles, and for antique and brocante lovers, the famous markets at l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Avignon. Take the wine trail passing numerous caves, which will welcome you in to sample their delights. For the more energetic there is canoeing, walking the numerous beautiful marked trails, or just meandering, fishing, golf, flying, horse riding and tennis. Bedoin is of course, with the famous Mt Ventoux, a Mecca for cyclists. Or simply sit in the shade of the garden with a glass of wine, and enjoy a game of boule as the sun goes down.

Why the Owner Chose Bedoin: We fell in love with Provence whilst on holiday, and spent a number of years looking for the perfect property, an old house, near a pretty village with stunning views and good walking, which was central to all the delights of Provence. As interior designers we wanted something that was untouched, which gave us a blank canvas to create the sort of stunning house we ourselves would require for the perfect French experience. As most of our holidaymakers return year after year we hope we have achieved this.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: Fantastic views, surrounded by wonderful old market villages, vineyards for wine tasting and numerous outdoor activities, plus it is a cycling mecca being on the route of the Tour de France. The world famous antique market at Isle sur La Sorgue is a short distance away, as are the Roman ruins, at Orange, Arle, and Aix en Provence. The Papal city of Avignon with its long summer arts festival, and the world famous opera season at Orange, is also close by. There is a different market everyday and the food of Provence is divine, as are the numerous restaurants.
