Welcome to our Beech Mountain lake cabin: an upscale, four season destination. The cabin was recently renovated and is furnished in a mountain, rustic-elegance design with beautiful handmade furniture. FULL BEECH MTN. CLUB privileges available from May until October.
This cabin is the perfect location for all activities. It's a quick 5 minute drive to the slope. The cabin is also right on Lake Coffey and is a 2 minute, very easy, walk to the pool, tennis courts, recreation and fitness department. The kids can easily and safely walk to the pool, playground, and club during the summer.
The family room has 15 ft. ceilings with lots of windows so the home is light and bright!The brand new kitchen has stainless-steel appliances, granite, top end finishes and is very well equipped for long stays.
Curl up in front of the gas fireplace in the living area. There is digital cable tv and FREE wireless internet. There's also a movie and book library to make your stay comfortable. There's lots of games and puzzles for family fun. A sofabed in the living area pulls out should you need extra room. French doors off the family room open up to a huge deck overlooking the lake. In the warm weather, take your morning coffee outside and listen to all the birds or the family of geese that greet you. Grill out on the deck while the fireflies dance in the rhododendrun bushes. Watch the moon cast beams across the lake.
The cabin offers a split floor plan with the dining, kitchen, living room and a bedroom on the main level and 3 bedrooms on the second level. This plan is perfect for families with varying bed times--the bedrooms are nice and quiet. The bedroom on the main level is perfect for older family members who can't climb stairs. It has a brand new queen bed, tv/vcr and an adjoining full bathroom.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with cable tv and an ensuite full bathroom and walk-in closet. The first guest room has a queen bed with cable tv. It has new linens and furnishings. The 3rd bedroom has a double on double bunk and is decorated in a bear theme. The kids love this room with the Playstation II, tv, and DVD player. All the mattresses are newer and comfortable. The two downstairs guest rooms share a full sized bath with tub and shower. In the hall there is a new, full size washer and dryer.
Located just one mile from the entrance to Ski Beech, you can see the mountain lit up for night skiing. The home is located directly on Lake Coffey and is the closest rental to the Club facilities. You don't need to drive the kids to the pool or basketball courts, they are within a few hundred feet of the cabin (2 min. walk.)
Even though the cabin is so close to the Club facilities, the cabin is still private and quiet. Fishing in the stocked trout lake and fitness trail is in the backyard on Lake Coffey. There's a gorgeous waterfall and cascading pools with an amazing hiking trail right next to the lake. Many other marked hiking trails are right out the door. Do as much or as little as you like-you'll enjoy every minute of it!

I just wanted to let you know that we had such a great time at the cabin. Everything was perfect; it really is a beautiful place. So cosy, and perfectly decorated. The location is excellent with its proximity to the ski resort and all the activities Beech Mountain has to offer. On the first day we took lots of hikes and pictures. Tuesday and Wednesday we took the kids skiing. We can't wait to take the kids skiing again. It was their first time and they LOVED it. It ended up snowing (alot). It was a winter wonderland! This house had everything you could need. It was very clean and nicely renovated. We were also conveniently located to the slopes and dining. We will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Definitely recommend this cabin to couples or families. This is our second time here during the winter for skiing. It is an easy 5 min. drive to Beech Mountain Resort. We had a fantastic time. The 12" of snow just before we got there was perfect. Seems like we have been living right - the same thing happened last year. Fresh snow was awesome. The cabin is perfect with the addition of the new 4th bedroom. Everyone had a great time. We just left and already look forward to returning next year.Did you find this review helpful? Our family had the most delightful time in this wonderful cabin. It was spacious, beautifully equipped, tastefully decorated, warm and cozy and immaculately clean. The owner, Heather, was a joy to work with. On top of that, our daughter left a valuable necklace and ring in one of the bedrooms, and when she called Heather to ask about it, she promptly called the maid who was all set to mail the found items to us. We so appreciated the maid's honesty. I would highly recommend this listing.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

"Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful vacation. I cannot say enough about how special your cabin is. I feel truly blessed that you allowed our family to stay there. We have rented on Beech Mountain for five years and your cabin is the best rental so far, by far! Your furnishings are just beautiful with a lot of handmade furniture. Oh and the dining table! How did you ever find a table so large? Our family spent many hours at the dining table, not only eating, but playing games and reminiscing. Beautiful lake front cabin. Cabin is very nicely equipped. Everything we needed. Furnished with modern upper end appliances and tastefully decorated. Most of all it was exquistely clean when we arrived. I definitely would recommend this cabin and most likely rent it again.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We love the NC mountains and have been vacationing here for years. We kept coming back to Beech Mountain for skiing and summer activities. Beech Mountain is truly a four season destination for our active family. There's skiing, hiking, golf, tennis,swimming and fishing all within a mile. There's so many great activities for you if you enjoy the outdoors. You can do as much as you want or as little as you want. We hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Nothing beats the lake view meeting the mountains or the wildlife that come up the driveway to visit. Full Beech Mtn. Club facilities include golf, tennis, fine dining, heated olympic-sized swimming pool, fitness center and youth activities from May to October each year for a nominal guest fee. The home is 1.1 miles from the Ski Beech slopes. Buckeye Recreation Center provides indoor basketball/indoor tennis/fitness (year round) and is approximately 2.5 miles from the house. Fred's General Store and deli/cafe for necessities is a five minute drive from the house. Nearby is the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone,Tweetsie Railroad, Roan Mountain, Watauga Lake.
Beech Mountain does a great job plowing and our cabin is located just off of paved roads, but in the winter months, AWD or 4WD is recommended. Calling card recommended for long distance service.
