  Great house, very comfortable, very well maintained. The most beautiful views, dolphins & manatee swimming right off the dock. This place is magical, very welcoming and friendly.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  We totally enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was set up perfectly to take advantage of the lovely waterfront setting. The pool was clean and refreshing and warm. Totally enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the antics of the birds and fish and passing kayaks. Sunsets were incredible! Check-in and check-out were very convenient. Mac, the caretaker, was nearby if we needed anything. Can't wait to return!

  The home was beautiful as were the views. The only issues we had were the pool light did not work, there were ants in the kitchen and the first time we tried to use the grill there was no gas but the caretaker took care of that.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

  We stayed in your beautiful home the first week of September, along with our son and daughter-in-law. We found it to be very spacious, clean and cozy. The location is absolutely awesome with the view from the home looking out over the pool and the water! So very peaceful and serene. The sunsets were spectacular, each one unique, colorful and breathtaking. We were sure to take pictures of them all while we were there. We saw dolphins daily, in addition to a manatee. Having the boat lift was great since we brought our boat to go fishing....and we did catch fish! We spent a lot of our time at the house. It was a great way to kick back, relax and absorb everything @ us. A big thanks to Judy and Mac for helping make our stay a pleasant one. Needless to say we hated to leave! Thanks a bunch!

  We spent 10 great days in January in this house with friends. The house itself was exactly as shown. It is a large well kept house, very clean, and can easily accomodate six adults very comfortably. Everything that we needed was there, including beach towels, swim tubs, and noodles for the pool. The pool itself was very nice and clean, but I must mention that the pool's solar heating is a bit inadequate for the Winter months. To say that we just enjoyed our stay is also inadequate. Matlacha is a great place, if you enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, as well as sitting on the dock watching birds, dolphins, manatees and wonderful sunsets. I would not recommend Matlacha if you are looking for a place with a great sand beach as there is none here, you will need to drive a bit futher South for those. When you go to Matacha, you do need to contact Captain Brian for some real fun, "skinny water" fishing. We had a wonderful stay with our friends and would highly recommend this house in Matlacha. We found most everything to be as advertised. Judy was extremely professional and easy to work with. There is also a "onsight" manager, a local neighbor, Mac who was there for us if we needed him (even for some fishing gear). I hope that you will find this review helpful and will visit Matlacha.

• Amazing House!

  We booked this house for a week in July and it exceeded our expectations on all levels. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we could need. It is right on the bay and has great access to the water. The pool was great and sunsets are amazing. The house had plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children. Shopping is very close. We will definitely be back!

  The photos didn't do justice to the home . . . more space than we imagined. Three areas to choose for dining! Spacious kitchen with lots of room where we congregated most of the time! The pass-through to the inside patio area was a bonus. Everything was clean, well-maintained and plentiful. I would highly recommend this venue!
