  This cottage was nice and homey and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. We were visiting the OR coast for about a week, and it was nice to have a home to stay in as opposed to just a hotel room. It was very clean and had everything we needed, including extra towels and linens. The photos and descriptions are very accurate. Having a fully stocked kitchen, and a washer and dryer was very convenient. We washed our dishes right away and kept things clean in the kitchen, so we didn't have any trouble with ants. There is plenty of closet space in the bedroom to hang up your clothes, and the bathroom is a good size, with a spacious countertop, along with drawers and a medicine cabinet to put your things in. It was very quiet aside from the neighborhood birds which we would hear every now and then. This was our second time staying here and we will return again.

  This rental was really nice and perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. No problem with ants what-so-ever. The atmosphere was awesome! The house is tucked in off the road with tons of trees. Really quiet (besides the ducks and roosters a few houses over) and cozy! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed from dishes to pots, pans, and utensils and being able to cook our meals saved us a ton on food costs. We were able to ride our ATVs to the Spinreel dunes right down the road with no problems. It was awesome to be able to ride and then be right next to the house to break for lunch or whatever. The owner was extremely pleasant and friendly during our interactions with her over the phone. Overall, we had a great stay and a great trip and we would definitely stay there again next time we wanted to be next to the southern part of the dunes!

  This house was perfect for our families vacation! Easy, quick access to the dunes, very clean and comfortable, and plenty of parking for trucks, trailers AND ATV's. We kept our food in our rubbermaid containers which pretty much kept the ants at bay. Darlene was very friendly and flexible in working with us on our arrival time, which was a huge plus! I would absolutely reccommend this place to friends and family!

  overall this is a cute place, however they had issues with the heating and we all were pretty cold the first night, we made sure everything was put up and cleaned constantly and still had ants, even on the clean dishes in the cupboard, i know they are a pest to get rid off but seen no traps anywhere to help controlo them. everything is provided and it is not far to spinreel altho hard to find at night. neighbors were not friendly.

  Owner response: Hello Diania, we were extremely sorry that you had a cold night! We thought the electric heater we had brought over would work for you if you had any trouble with the propane stove! The company is locating the part it needs to repair the propane stove as I had stated. As for the ants, we were very unhappy to hear that you had trouble like that as we could tell you'd kept it very clean. The traps are kept outside and the inside of the house is to be sprayed each time. Our cleaners, I'm afraid, have let us both down. Thank you for informing us of this problem!   We LOVED this rental. It was very clean when we arrived. The description and the listing photos were very accurate. The house is well maintained. We did not have any problems while we were there. There were plenty of beds which worked out great for our group/family. We were able to ride our 4-wheelers to the Spinreel Dunes right from the house. I would definitely recommend this property to others and would definitely stay here again. The owner was friendly and answered our questions promptly before we arrived.

  WE had a good time. The house has some problems, couldn't get the heat to work, but it got fixed fairly soon. Lots of ants t o deal with. Should have had some kind of spray for them. Very uncomfortable living room with beds everywhere. Only one chair fit to sit in. One of the chairs was broke arm came off everytime you tried to sit in it. The bathroom wallpaper is pealing off the wall. Wouldn't rent this house again. It is probably allright for a lot of people to have a place to sleep. But for two people not homey and cozy like I would have liked. It was fairly clean. Needs more towels and wash clothes.
