Cherokee Lodge is the place for groups of up to 24 people. The cabin is centrally located, offering a quick 10 minute drive to all the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, and a 15 minute drive to the attractions of Pigeon Forge.

The remote location of Cherokee Lodge will ensure your privacy and seclusion. A gated entry offers you security, and ample parking is available for large groups. When you arrive at the cabin, you will be greeted by a covered porch with inviting rocking chairs.
'Big log” construction is exactly what you think of when you think 'Lodge in the Smoky Mountains' and that is exactly what you will find upon entering 'Cherokee Lodge'.
Enter the cabin into a spacious foyer, then to the huge den with a spectacular 'wall of windows', a 25 foot cathedral glass and beam wall that faces right out at the spectacular mountain view! The den features an 18 foot stacked stone fireplace with gas logs and a 42” HDTV flat screen TV.
The 10 foot wide main floor deck wraps around the north, east, and south sides of the lodge, with the main view being the Great Smoky Mountains to the south. This deck has several rocking chairs with side tables that you will find very inviting!
To the left of the living area is the spacious dining area with glass walls overlooking the forest and mountains. The beautiful dining table seats 14, additional seating for 4 at the kitchen counter, plus a nearby table with foldout leaves and cushioned folding chairs for another 4 guests = dining for 22.
The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, including 2 stoves for the gourmet cook. The kitchen also has a microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The kitchen has all of the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils your group will need.
Just off the kitchen is the laundry room including washer and dryer.
To the right of the living area is a 16 foot by 15 master king bedroom suite with a king-size log bed, large dresser, two end tables with lamps, a 7 foot walk-in closet, a stuffed leather chair, and a flat screen satellite TV with DVD / VCR. You will love the private door to the deck from this king master suite! The suite includes a spacious bath with a whirlpool tub and a stone tiled shower for 2.
Upstairs are 2 more king bedrooms with private baths and walk-in closets. Each bedroom has 2 end tables with lamps, flat screen satellite TV's with DVD players, comfortably stuffed easy chairs, a large chest of drawers, and an unbelievable view overlooking the mountains.
The loft between the two upstairs bedrooms is set up as an 'office'. It offers spectacular views, a desk, a queen-size sofa sleeper, and a distressed leather easy chair. It’s the perfect little nook to relax between activities, and maybe send an email or two with the free Wi-Fi.
Downstairs is the fantastic game room. The game room boasts a 7 foot billiards table, a multi-game arcade, another flat screen satellite TV with a DVD player, a 2nd stacked stone fireplace (gas), queen size sofa-sleeper, air hockey, foosball, card table with 4 chairs, and a 'mini kitchen' with a double sink, full size refrigerator, and microwave. There is also a half bath in the game room for those enjoying the action. For music, there is a stereo with CD/cassette player.
Arcade Legends, the FREE multi-game arcade, is located in the gameroom and will keep the kids busy for hours! Many games are included: Tempest, Missile Command, Battle Zone, Major Havoc, Millipede, Centipede, Super Breakout, Asteroids, and more!!!!
From the game room, you walk out to the the large hot tub. You will always find someone in your group in the hot tub, taking in the fabulous mountain views!
To the right and left of the game room are 2 huge bedrooms (bunk rooms). Each bunk room features 4 full size log beds, these are 'full size bed over full size bed' bunk beds. Each bunk room sleeps up to 8 people! Each bunk room also has a private bath with tub-shower combo, TV and walk-in closet.
From the lower level you can walk out to the flat back yard where the fire pit is located.
As you can tell by now, Cherokee Lodge has EVERYTHING your group will want to make your Smoky Mountain vacation a 'trip of a lifetime'!

What an awesome vacation to the Smoky Mountains! You will not be disappointed with this selection of places to stay when making your selection. I spent several days researching the perfect place...and I made the correct choice. Close enough to everything you will want to do in and around Gatlinburg, yet, secluded enough to give you all the privacy you desire. Val and Renee' are great to work with and are excellent communicators. Most of my emails were answered within minutes and calls were immediate. I really don't have anything negative to mention, there were no surprises and that is a welcomed surprise for any renter! And did I mention the view...you have to see it for yourself and I think my oldest grand daughter took photos of the sunset every night possible. But, only long enough to stop making smores around the huge fire pit out back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had 7 adults and 7 kids in the house for the week of Christmas. This was a perfect house for us! The bedrooms were all very comfortable and clean and plentiful bathroom space. Very nice comfortable feeling in a relaxing home. The kitchen has two ovens/stoves and we had a great time cooking meals together and eating on the large table that accommodated us all nicely. The kids loved everything about this house, but especially the game room on the bottom floor. The views were tremendous all morning/day long. The whirlpool was nice and comfortable after long hikes in the Smokys park. Loved the fireplaces, the TVs, the outdoor gas grill, and the circle of chairs around the fire circle in the backyard was a nice touch. Everything about this house encouraged good family-time and a lot of laughs. We will be returning to this house!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

This cabin is gorgeous! There is plenty of room and it has everything you need. The wireless internet wasn't working but that wasn't the owners fault. The phone company must have been having problems in that area. but it was nice to be away from phones & internet for a change. :) I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Me and my family were not disappointed in this place at all. Great kitchen for cooking and lots of space for large groups. I hope to be back in the future with the rest of my family that weren't able to go this time. It's awesome! Thanks Val and Renee for all your help each time I contacted you. Your very quick to respond and very friendly. Thanks for sharing your cabin and for it being pet friendly. This was my family's first trip to Cherokee Lodge. The home had it all. Plenty of comfortable bedding and seating in all rooms. The view was spectacular. The accomodations were just perfect. Plan to come again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This chalet was beautiful with a great view. I must say it was at the VERY top of the mountain. The chalets kitchen was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Having 2 ovens was niceas well. Our only compliant was the size of the 2 TVs in the living room and the game room. For the size of the chalet, they seemed very small in size. And during our stay UK played Tenn and since I am a HUGE UK fan, it was alittle disappointing since my TV at home was larger. But I would definitely rent Cherokee Lodge again, we had a great time and the chalet was in great shape. My friends and I do this every year for the past 11 years and this is one of the BEST we have rented.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at the Cherokee Lodge right after Christmas for a family reunion. There were 20 of us - 10 adults and 10 kids. The Lodge was perfect for us! In fact, the words I kept hearing from other family members was "Amazing. Beautiful. Spacious." Every family had a spacious room to put all of their stuff, leaving the large family room for lots of casual visiting time. The large dining table provided a great place for family meals together. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room, and several family members took a dip in the hot tub. The kids even enjoyed the wooded backyard and found a grapevine swing to entertain them. We only experienced a few minor problems with the heating system and fireplace, but these were handled immediately and to our satisfaction. We did experience a bit of trouble with the TVs while trying to catch some college bowl games. We managed to figure them out, but a sheet with directions on how to operate the system would be most helpful for future renters. Thank you again for assistance in making our reunion very special!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our group had a great time at the cabin! It was well furnished for our group of 20 with plenty of room to spread out and relax. I loved the 2 ovens and ranges in the kitchen...they came in handy when we cooked our Thanksgiving meal. I thnk the cabin is under priced, considering the room and views. We hope to stay there again next summer!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

Everything about this stay was top-notch. The booking was seamless, easy, and all questions and inquiries were promptly addressed and replied to. No check-in hassles like alot of the other gatlinburg cabins and chalets which is also a big plus! Our group of 12 had a great relaxing and enjoyable time. The view was spectacular..the beds were comfy and the amenities served our needs well. The kids stayed busy and happy between the game room and hottub. We stayed relaxed and headache free without the constant nagging of lets go do something...this is so boring! :-) Unlike a lot of other mountaintop cabins there was even room to roam outside without the danger of being atop a cliff which is very family friendly in my opinion. There was even an outside area for a bonfire which we definitely made this to our advantage and roasted some hotdogs directly in the flames. A great getaway and we would and will recommend to everyone!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The Lodge was wonderful and the view and sunsets were breathtaking!!! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Cherokee Lodge to others. Some minor issues: the downstairs smoke alarm is beeping intermittently the downstairs thermostat is not working Wi-fi was not working, (this was being addressed while we were there)Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We want to thank this guest and all guests that let us know when we have issues at our cabin. We try to address issues as soon as we are made aware of them. We installed a new wireless router, a new thermostat downstairs, and a new smoke alarm downstairs. We have also had new carpet installed on the stairs and new wood flooring installed in the game room. It looks great!
