This beautiful home is in the private Vanderhorst Plantation section of Kiawah Island. The owners purchased the home in July 2003 and furnished it with new, quality furnishings throughout. As you approach you will notice the impeccably maintained, professionally landscaped grounds, which feature magnolias, palmettos and live oaks draped in Spanish moss. The backyard borders a beautiful pond filled with Kiawah wildlife.
The front porch is long and wide and features four white Carolina rockers. As you enter the house, the high ceilings, hardwood floors and crown molding exemplify the home's gracious appeal. The den to the left of the entranceway features extremely soft leather furniture and a TV. To the right of the entrance way is the billiards room, featuring a top-of-the-line, full-sized billiards table. Proceeding into the house, one enters the living room, complete with fireplace, TV and four sets of French doors that provide beautiful views of the backyard and pond. At night the lights illuminate the large, ancient live oak which reflects off Canvasback Pond.
The kitchen was recently remodeled and features its own fireplace, TV, eating area, separate sitting area and granite counter tops. Also on the first floor is the master bed with king bed,TV and jacuzzi tub in the master bath. Each of the living room, master bedroom and kitchen open onto the wide back deck, which gets lots of sun and features a teak dining set, teak steamer chairs and a deluxe gas grill. All TVs are new Sony TVs.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, two baths and a small "game room" which features a foosball table. The owners also provide an oak crib for your use.
Provided with the house are beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a large wagon to carry them all to the uncrowded beach less than a 10 minute walk away. |
