Budd and Cindy Great vacation!
Budd and Cindy Great vacation!
We love the Loreto Bay area, lot's of activities or just relaxing on the beach. Even better is this condo, modern with a Baja Mexico flair. Great air conditioning adjustable separately for each large room. Convenient, up-to-date appliances make it easy to travel light and always have clean clothes. The furnishings are high quality throughout the property. Everything you need is at your fingertips. The modern full kitchen is a blessing when you want a quick bite to eat without "going out". It's also great for someone with dietary needs, like my wife, (vegetarian). If you prefer to dine out the hotel restaurant and others are nearby with a lot of variety of food types. If you like to swim or snorkel the beach is within a short walk. Fishing in this area is awesome!. I have caught Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Marlin, etc. here. We have also experienced schools of Dolphins.. There are a lot of Palapas for shade and lounge chairs on the beach. There are also several pools close by including the newly opened "lap pool". This pool and its' deck are a work of art. We have stayed in Loreto numerous times and have found this property to be perfect in every way. It is a great location with a fabulous view in every direction. (BTW -- English is spoken everywhere in this area; a comfort to my wife who does not speak Spanish)

Beautiful Beach Town!
Beautiful Beach Town!
Our family enjoyed a relaxing week on the charming beaches of Loreto Bay. The redeveloped town is done in an old world style that makes you feel at ease the moment you arrive. The home was clean and well set up, with the beach, palapas, restaurant and pools all within a short walk. The kayaking was great as well. We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful seaside getaway.

This is a beautiful property located in a spectaular setting. The furnishings and amenities are well maintained and combine Mexican flavor with comfort. We particularly loved using the built -in barbeque grill on the upstairs deck while enjoying a Margarita and watching the sunset. The area is incredible with beautiful warm water and many gorgeous islands. The snorkeling, diving and fishing was the best. We saw everything from pods of dolphins to different types of whales. As far as fishing, we caught many dorado, but in other months you can catch marlin and even a sailfish. We can't wait to return to this wonderful property. This house would be especially good for two couples since there is a lot of privacy.

Loreto Bay is amazingly scenic with mountains on one side and the Sea of Cortez on the other. We loved staying in this beautiful, well-located villa, which overlooks a pretty garden. Our villa was very clean and nicely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and another outdoor kitchen upstairs. Mornings, some of us would greet the day with yoga on the upper patio and others would sleep in and stroll over to El Corazon for some exceptional coffee/espresso and fresh baked scones. Loreto Bay Inn is a short walk from the house and we swam at the pool, went kayaking and snorkeling at the beach, and enjoyed fajitas and margaritas at the pool side cafe. Loved sitting under a palapas on the beach with a good book, and watching the pelicans dive for fish. A very special place that combines resort amenities with natural beauty -- would definitely stay here again!

About: I love swimming, kayaking and snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez and Loreto Bay has the perfect climate to do this! I live in San Francisco, but always look forward to my trips with family and friends to Loreto Bay, where its sunny and warm and my neighbors enjoy Loreto Bay's beauty as much as I do.
I learned about Loreto Bay from some friends who also built a home here.
