  My husband and I stayed at Nessie's place for six nights and could not have asked for a better welcome or stay in Maui. The house was clean, well appointed, and located close to town where there are numerous shops, restaurants, cafes, and local markets to enjoy. It would be an incredible location for anyone who is looking for somewhere laid back and low key to hang out. The property is also conveniently located for driving to other areas of the island including Kihei and Lahaina. Loch (the owner) was extremely welcoming and helpful in our first travels to Maui. Although he provided plenty of privacy during our stay, he was always available to help us in finding the best surf and kite surfing Maui had to offer when needed - whether it be beginner or advanced. He also did an amazing job in ensuring we had the freshest of papaya straight off the trees from the yard. Our stay at this property exceeded our already high expectations for what the island of Maui might have to offer. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy a stay at Nessie's place!

  Spacious and peaceful house. Location of the house was perfect. Not too far from places we wanted to go.

  The owner of the property greeted us right away and provided us with complimentary pineapples from the neighbor. He also told us to pick as many papayas off his trees as we would like. I think we ate about 10. The facility was very clean when we entered and looked exactly like the pictures viewed online. We had one minor issue with the water heater that the owner corrected right away and showed us what to do in case he wasn't available. (Circuit Breaker) If you want a high priced, extremely fancy place with many luxury items, this is not the place. If you want a place similar to your own house where you can kick back and relax - this will be your place. Loch is always willing to answer questions and provide suggestions for places to eat or visit. Not only would I recommend the house to friends but we plan on coming back ourselves.

  The house was very comfortable and the owner very hospitable. We will definitely try to book this home again when we get a chance to come back.

  Very nice house , close to Paia . Quite confortable what you need to enjoy your stay in Maui. Mr Loch was very friendly and helpful man. We willl comeback !!!!! Mahalo Edoardo & Elisa

  Stayed 12 nights at Nessie's Place. Lots of space, clean and well laid out. Well located being close to Paia and the North Shore beaches. Very friendly and helpful owner. Much better than a hotel or apartment - just a short drive to the beach. Would stay there again when visiting Maui.

  Wife and I stayed here for a week and loved it! This is our second time staying in Paia and think this is a great place to stay. The place is very nice, clean and comfortable. It's great to walk out and get fresh fruit and veggies/herbs. We relaxed at the picnic table every night and enjoyed the weather. The owner is really great and helpful. Would definitely stay here again! Michael

  Light, airy, spacious and comfy house, conveniently located - awesome coffee houses, restaurants and Mana foods only a mile away! Located right off Baldwin Ave, so there is some traffic noise and neighborhood dogs (trade offs) - but so easy to get to and from. The King size bed was the BEST EVER! Loved the ceiling fans and large windows that we kept open day and night. It felt safe and was very private and very clean. Eating from the garden was a treat - we grilled fresh fish and vegies, plus some delicious beef from Upcounry. Mama's Beach House and Hookipia Beach are close by - another HUGE plus for this location. I look forward to our return visit!

  The house was perfect for our stay ( 2 adults and 2 children ). Clean, comfortable, spacious and nicely Decorated. It’s close to lower Paia with restaurants and beaches, close enough for walking. We highly recommend it unless you book it for march 2012 which is when we plan to come back ? Agree with the review from catfish. The house is even nicer than the pictures shows. We have rented houses four times since 2005 both in Spreckelville and Haiku, this is by far the best rental!

  great place to chill out and enjoy the beauty of Maui. Stayed a week with my best friend, and we found the place to be exactly what the doctor ordered. A relaxing, well kept place, clean, accessible, and the perfect mellow host to make things even better. Will definately stay at Nessie's place again. Check it out.
