You will feel right at home in this beautiful FULLY-EQUIPPED, four bedroom, three bath Oceanside(not Oceanfront)townhouse
The first floor is comprised of three bedrooms, including one of the two masters (King bed) with its own bath, two additional bedrooms one with double bed on the bottom and a single bed up and the other with two twin beds, an additional full bath and full size washer and dryer. The stairs up lead to the Great Room, Dining area, fully equipped kitchen and the second of the two Master bedrooms (Queen).
You will (I know we do) enjoy the fact that there is a deck off every room. Although not an Oceanfront unit you can still enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful ocean from the Oceanside decks. The street side decks afford a view of the marsh and intracoastal in the distance complete with spectular sunset views.
Access to the beach is by private beach access. No streets to cross, simply walk across the courtyard and you are there.
The Surf City area is the "commercial center" of Topsail Island and therefore offers access to many eating spots from burgers to gourmet. Other members of the family may enjoy the unique gift and other shops of interest.
Sip your morning coffee, or evening glass of wine while you enjoy the sights and sounds of the Ocean in the foreground. We are confident that you will enjoy the Surf City area of Topsail Island and we hope you will want to return for years to come.
Collect seashells, work on your tan to the envy of those left behind, swim or frolic in the inviting surf or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this vacation paradise. Read a book, fly a kite, ride a bike or... DO NOTHING AT ALL!

Our son returned from Afghanistan on Christmas Day and we could not have asked for a nicer home to celebrate his homecoming as well as Christmas. There was a small Christmas tree in the living room which we decorated. This is a very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious home. The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing any meal. The decks were great places to read or visit. Even in December, you could walk up the street and find shops and restaurants open for business. And of course the beach being right there was great. I would highly recommend this as a vacation destination.

Our stay at Nakiska was absolutely wonderful! Even though we were not directly on the ocean, you could still see it and you do not have to cross any roads to get to it. The place was very clean and the King bed was more comfortable than our new King bed at home! We would definitely recommend this location to anyone that wants to get away and relax and we would definitely stay there again and again. It was great not to have to pack beach chairs and boogie boards, they were all provided. The only improvement needed is a gas grill. Nice and quiet, yet close to stores and restaurants. All of our accommodations were handled very efficiently via email. Thanks Richard for letting us stay!

Nakiska is by far the nicest place my family and I have ever stayed. We got much more than we expected for our money. This townhouse is absolutely immaculate. I'm a very picky person but I couldn't find one single thing wrong with this home. The home is beautifully decorated, extremely modern, nicely equipped and clean as clean can be. The location is perfect. Richard (the owner) is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with. We look forward to returning to Nakiska in the future. I highly recommend this vacation property. You will not be disappointed.

I am not sure how many years we have stayed at Nakiska, but our kids refuse to go anywhere else. This feels like our second home. Our time here is so relaxing and enjoyable. Richard and Barbara are wonderful to work with. Can't wait until next summer!!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Nakiska for nine days in April after our son returned home from Iraq. The house was beautifully decorated, equipped with every possible amenity and our stay could not have been more delightful. There was some uncertainty about the exact dates when our son would be returning and Richard (the owner) could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We have stayed in many homes on Topsail Island, but I can honestly say that this one is our favorite and we look forward to returning to Nakiska.

Richard made sure we had everything we needed. Our family of 6 loved this place. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. The entire place was well decorated and very clean. The beach was close by, and plenty of room to spread out.

We wanted to thank you for such a wonderful time! Having just gotten married in December, this was our first family vacation. It was absolutely wonderful! The condo had more than enough room for the two of us and our six children. It was beautifully decorated and clean. It was also well stocked with any amenities that one might need when away from home. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!

We greatly enjoyed our week at Topsail Island! The house was very nice, well equipt and comfortable for the whole family. The beach is beautiful and just what we were hoping for! Richard checked in with us to make sure everything was okay at the beginning of the week and to give some tips on the area. We would definitely return for another vacation!

As the summer is coming to a close, I am reminded of how we began our summer in June. We had a wonderful week's stay at Nakiska and want to spread the good word about it. It was a great location- very close to the beach and walkable to many locations. It was affordable and with the good price, we felt we could do other things like renting bikes and kayaks. Even though it was so close to many things, it was also quiet. Very clean and home-like, it had all we needed to give us a comfortable, relaxing vacation.
