  This rental exceeded my expectations. The views, both day and night, were awesome. It was a short walk to Kalakaua Ave., as well as the beach, so we rarely had to use a car to get to restaurants, shopping, or entertainment. It was very clean and well-maintained with plenty of linens for our use. Hazel very efficiently and pleasantly took care of any needs we had. Tour buses for the tours we took arrived within walking distance as well. It was great to be on a family vacation with three large bedrooms for privacy and still have a great common area. I would definitely recommend this rental.

  We were 3 couples staying at the condo with the three bedrooms and three bathrooms this was perfect. The location was within walking distance to shopping, and the beach. We had rented a car and the valet parking was very convient, it was $30/day but well worth it. The views from the lanai's were wonderful it was a great way to start and end the day.

  We stayed at the Royal Gardens Penthouse from Feb 9-17, 2013. Had an amazing time and no complaints that need to be addressed. Regarding other people's complaints: Kitchen is small but we did not have a problem cooking for a family of 8 in it. Other complaints aren't even worth mentioning. It is a wonderful condo at a very reasonable price minutes from the beach. If someone is going to complain about minor details such as sticky doors or windows then they should probably just buck up and stay at the Hilton. The condo itself is exquisite with ample room for 3 couples and in our case 2 small children. It has amazing views, comfortable beds and furniture and all the luxuries of home. The lobby staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable and very happy to provide directions and local info. Hazel the VRBO manager was amazing from start to finish. She always returned emails within a very reasonable time with a friendly and informative response. She also went out of her way to accommodate our multiple requests including getting play pens (which were set up upon our arrival) and extending our checkout for a very reasonable fee. As far as location goes, the condo is a straight shot through Fort Derussey park to the beach (about an 8 min walk at a brisk pace). Itisalso about a 10 min walk to the main shopping drag at Waikiki beach to the east. For this price you can't ask for a better location. All in all a great value with great service from front to back. We will definitely be returning if we do another group trip to Honolulu in the future.

  Picures and description of condo was accurate. It had plenty of great views and close to all the action. The property was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this property.

  This was a wonderful experience. We had a large spacious living area that we all enjoyed. Clean and well stocked with the essentials. Beds were comfortable and had a good nites sleep. The view is spectacular. We would vacation here again. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

  This penthouse is amazing. It's on a quiet street. And it's a short walk to the beach. The doormen and concierge desk were so helpful and friendly. The unit itself was well appointed- clean, recently upgraded, towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Laundry is free (bonus!). The pictures on this page are nice but it doesn't compare to walking in to this beautiful penthouse- it's breathtaking. What a lovely home to come back to after a long day of adventure or beach bumming. :) I was so sad when we checked out... I will definitely come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

  We stayed for 3 nights in the penthouse suite on level 25. Generally we wouldn't stay in somewhere so opulent, but struggled to find somewhere with the correct bedroom number and configuration for our family, with 3 boys ( 14, 12, 10) and a girl (16). The rollaway bed was perhaps a little small for the 10 year old, but otherwise the bedding worked well. The whole process was very easy - from booking, to checking in, and the departing. The suite had everything we could need, and was so nice that we felt like royalty. The pool was adequate, although a bit cold (December). The location was good - only a few blocks to the kids favourite breakfast place (IHOP), and a short walk to the shops and beach. Only criticism I could make is that the shower stalls are very dark, and that so high up, there was a lot of rattling noise from the wind. Both very small issues, and didn't detract from our wonderful experience. If we return to Waikiki with children again, we would definitely stay there again.

  This property is BREATH TAKING. I had the pleasure of staying in this unit for 5 days with 7 of my female friends. We were on the island to celebrate my 40th birthday. Everyone was impress with the unit. The pictures really do not do justice to the unit...I love how the rooms are located in different areas of the unit, making each unit a private oasis... The breaze from the lani at night is AWESOME..Most importantly, Hazel, the property manager is the BEST... She was very helpful and available from the begining... I would have to say that my experience with HAZEL is one that made my Hawaii vacation the best EVER!!!!

  My extended family stayed here and we were all very happy with the penthouse. We arrived and went out to the lanai where there was a rainbow - my kids loved it! The apartment was spacious and there were several amenities (soap, tissues, towels). The views were amazing and the cross breezes were such that you didn't need the air conditioning. The kitchen is small (no dishwasher and the fridge is tiny) but it is fully functional. Hazel and the staff at the Wyndam were super nice and accommodating. All in all, a great stay!

  A group of us in our late 20's (7 total) stayed here for 6 nights when we were visiting for a wedding. We arrived and the condo was thoroughly cleaned. Two of us were able to see the Friday night fireworks, which was just stunning from the 25th floor. The location is stellar and we didn't have too much trouble finding non-valet parking in the area. It was great to have beach mats and a cooler already there for us to use! It's a quick walk through a park to a less-crowded beach (and close to an ABC store). Close enough to the Waikiki strip to be fun but not overwhelming. Some things were a bit outdated but nothing important that impacted our stay. The property owners were very responsive and helpful from the beginning to end and would recommend this property to any large group travelling together.

Payments accepted through VRBO site. Acceptable forms are Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card

$300 refundable damage deposit required to hold dates

Balance will be due 60 days prior to guest arrival

Deposit will be returned shortly after housekeeping staff has confirmed no damages, excessive cleaning charges, or missing items
