APARTMENT DESCRIPTION : Located at the 16 rue Rodier in the 9th district of Paris, the apartment is in a typical building from the late nineteenth century, built in 1905. The apartment was completely renovated in 2004. The furniture is contemporary. The flat is quite lighty thanks to a South-East orientation, and with a large door-windows in each room and two windows in the kitchen. It is situated on the 4th (and last) floor of the building. (If we count with the American system, the apartment is on the 5th floor). There is no elevator. The view is on the courtyard of another residential building, inhabited by families, whose facade was redone in June 2010. Left side view on greeny small private park. The flat is very quiet, no problems with neighbors. The owner lives in the same building.
NEIGHBOURHOOD AND FACILITIES: Residential area but alive and full of shops. A bakery, a supermarket and three restaurants within a radius of 100m. The Post Office and other bakery, supermarket, cafes and restaurants more 100 meters. 'Rue des Martyrs' only 300m away. It is known for trade (bakery, supermarket, grocery, butcher, bookstores, banks, hair salons, etc ...) and its many cafes and typical restaurants (french, japonese, italian, etc...)
TOURISTICS POINTS NEARBY: The Opera Garnier and Department Stores (Galleries Lafayette, Printemps), The Sacré Coeur (at the famous Montmartre mountain), the Moulin Rouge and Pigalle theaters, two swimming pools, as well as the Gare Saint-Lazare, Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est are all located within a walking distance of 15 minutes around the appartment location.

TRANSPORTS: 2 metro lines within a radius of 300m (Notre-Dame de Lorette - Line12, and Cadet - Line 7) and another 500m (Anvers - Line 2). The station of the Grands Boulevards (Lines 8 and 9) are 10 minutes walk away. Many bus lines (26, 42, 43, 85, etc ...) in 2 major streets (300m): Rue de Maubeuge and Rue La Fayette. Cars can be parked in the underground parkings: in the Anvers square (next to the tube station) and Montholon square, both 500m away. Very few parking places in the apartment's street.
Keywords: 4 sleep apartment, very calm and practical, many metro/buses lines, close to 3 out of 6 Paris trains stations, to Montmartre, Opera house and Galerie Lafayette. 15min walking from the center. Very secure area.
