This condo was a real find, especially for the price. It is basic, but certainly had everything we needed for our stay (plenty of kitchen supplies, laundry, etc) and is in an awesome location. The grocery store, a great surf shop for rentals, and a couple of food options (food carts and plate lunches mostly) were all very accessile from the condo as well. We rented bikes to ride along the north shore stretch of beaches and rented surf boards to check out some of the gentler nearby breaks. Haleiwa is also very accessible from the condo for dinner or a little more activity. We'll definitely be returning as soon as we can!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

I had a great time ! The studio is very cozy, clean, a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches of Hawaii. The only thing I could hear at night was the sound of the waves. It's the perfect place for surfers and ocean and beach lovers. The major surfing spots of the North Shore are at walking distance (Sunset, Rocky Point, Pipeline). The town of Haleiwa is at 15 minutes by car. Also Ted's Bakery is very close, good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner and their Haupia Chocolate Pie is delicious. The owners were very nice and helpful. I wish I could go back very soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this 1BR condo for ten days (Jan 4-14) and it was everything that we needed. The owners were super helpful and were able to provide us with a lot of information and tips about the area before and during our trip. If we needed anything at all, they made themselves very available to us. We came to the North Shore with the idea that we would be outside all day long so all we need is a place to keep our stuff safe and to obviously crash at night, and this place was perfect for just that. The price is the best that you are going to find in this area, period. The condo has all the amenities that you are going to need for your trip. Washer/Dryer, big fridge/freezer, hot plate to cook your morning eggs, toaster, microwave, outside shower, etc. BEACH/SURF: The condo has private beach access right in front of the surf break Kammieland. On the beach, if you look to the right you see the huge waves of Sunset Beach breaking directly towards you, if you look left, Rocky Point is right there and its a great performance wave. The condo is situated almost perfectly in the middle of everything in the North Shore. You could walk to Pipeline if you want, but its easiest if you have a bike or a car. Food: Ted's Bakery is just down the road past Sunset beach. Shark's Cove Grill is closer to Waimea Bay (we thought it was over-priced for how bad the food was). Food trucks frequent the area (shrimp/pizza/etc). There are restaurants at Turtle Bay but they are pricey (Lei Leis was awesome). There are also tons of restaurants in Haleiwa, but you cant get there without a car or bus. Foodland is the grocery store on North Shore, they got pretty much everything (but a lil pricey). Any more than two people and this place is a stretch, but for two, it is everything you need. I cant wait to go back. Wish I never leftRecommended for: Adventure seekers.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights & had a wonderful time. The studio was very cozy and the location was awesome. Just steps to a mostly private stretch of Sunset Beach, we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the stars at night. It was very relaxing after a few nights in fast paced Waikiki. Can't wait to visit again. Sara Beaverton, ORRecommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
