BAREFOOT 2 is the upper floor of this beautiful beach front house. Enjoy the gorgeous view and wonderful sunsets from the spacious deck that allows private access to the white sand beaches. It is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, in the heart of Mexico Beach, on the "Forgotten Coast" of Florida. New shiny pine wood floors have just been added for even more beach ambiance. The location is perfect for visitors from all over and close to several airports, the closest being Panama City, Florida, just a 1/2 hour away. Built up on pilings, there is a large driveway underneath for plenty of parking. It is located across the street from the local grocery store and down the beach from Toucan's beach bar and restaurant. From the moment you arrive, you will wish that you could stay forever. The color of the sea changes from emerald green to azure blue and back again, depending on the season. Just relax on the deck while enjoying a cool beverage as the surf rolls in along the shore just a few feet away. Take a stroll on the soft sand as the sun disappears into the gulf. You will have a hard time leaving this beach house. It's a perfect beach getaway. Wireless High Speed Internet and Cable.There is a Queen size bed in the Master and a Queen size bed in the additional bedroom and one sofa sleeper in Living Room.

Never able to address concerns to the "owner" as property is through Property Management Group, Forgotten Coast Realty, who I found to be very rude to ANY concerns. After lugging belongings up 4 flights of steps, then inquiring about how to operate elevator for my disabled husband, and myself, being partially disabled, I was told "elevator has not worked in 1 1/2 yrs". This needs to be listed, as the elevator IS listed under the "Short Sale" advertisement for this property. Property is in dire need of repairs, paint, window treatments, ELEVATOR, etc. Maintenance man showed up 2 days later to check the non-working telephone reported. Checked is all he did, not repair it. I was asked by Property Management did I not have a cellular phone; being from out of state, a local call here is charged to me. I addressed a concern of having to move fishing poles in the ONLY entrance to the top floor and around the only picnic/grilling area, beach toys and hosing off sand under covered parking area; we couldn't use the grill, or picnic table for the fish bait of shrimp, squid and the conchs left to die and smell up the covered parking area by the renters below us. Property Management asked me what I'd like done..."for her to go over at 10:30pm and ask the other renters to have a little more consideration for us." I even asked to be moved elsewhere, but was given a deaf ear. I don't care what this PMG employee had to do to correct the problems; I'm paying rent for a 9 night stay, SO FIX IT THE PROBLEMS AT HAND! I fail to see anything has been done, or said to improve my stay, as I was told I would be contacted, to which my phone has yet to ring, or a knock on the door. The view, and being beach front is wonderful, but NOT for the $-price-$ of the aggravation, and rude unprofessionalism...it's NOT worth it, and I'd NOT recommend to anyone unless you plan to rent the ENTIRE HOUSE! Will notify BBB upon my return home.
