This is a two bedroom, 2 bath condo that sleeps 6. There is a King Size Bed in the master, a Queen size bed in the second bedroom and a Queen sofa bed in the living area. We are on the second floor (with elevator) which allows for a seamless connection between the condo and the ocean below. The ocean is directly in front of you. You are floating over the Waves and the blue waters of the Pacific as far as you can see.
With Floor to Ceiling Windows, watch the sea, surfers and turtles from the living room, dining room or lanai. Whales go by in the winter months. The Turtles feed almost every day directly in front. Sunbathe or enjoy one of the islands best snorkeling locations at the beach next to the condominium, or walk up the road to see the island's blow hole. Between the spectacular views and sunsets and the soothing sound of the waves, you are instantly transformed into vacation mode.
The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to cook in or enjoy a drink or dinner from one of the islands best restaurants and bars, The Beach House, which is located right next door. There are also BBQ's on site for your use. There is a Flat Screen TV in the living area and both Cable and Wireless Internet is provided. There is a parking lot for easy access.
The popular tourist areas of Poipu are just a mile or so away, as well as the historic town of Koloa where there is ice cream, shopping and restaurants.

Why the Owner Chose Kuhio Shores
We came on vacation and after staying at Kuhio Shores knew we wanted to own a condo there. We love Kauai and the condo location is just perfect. There is no other building on the island like it. Being only 40 feet from the ocean and watching the waves and the turtles is mesmerizing. We love it.

We love how the living, dining and kitchen areas of the condo directly face the ocean. With floor to ceiling windows and mirrors on the side walls, the ocean views come in from all angles.

We stayed at Kuhio Shores for a week in Nov. and loved it! It is better in person! The views from the condo were amazing. We watched the sun set every night from the balcony. The condo and all the property at Kuhio Shores was well maintained and very clean. We would highly recommend it.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We found the condo at Kuhio Shores to be a peaceful place to stay. As soon as we entered the condo, we would open up the lanai door to hear the sound of the ocean. The condo was comfortable and had homey feel to it....far better than any hotel with its well-stocked kitchen, a collection of helpful tour guides and books on Kauai, and beach equipment (towels, chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler!). We had everything we needed at our "home base" to relax and enjoy the beauty of Kauai!

This is our 4th time staying at Kuhio Shores and I don't think it can be beat...on any Hawaiian Island (and we've spent time on all of them). It's a beautiful, well furnished condo and nicely located for anything you want to do on the island. It's truly a wonderful place to stay for anyone of any age! Our sons loved it and my mother (at the age of 95) loved it. I agree with the other comments: it's beyond what you can possibly imagine.

We stayed in this condo in February and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It is beautifully furnished and fully equipped, but its greatest treasure is the spectacular view. If we return to Kauai, we'll stay there without question.

We very much enjoyed our week at Kuhio Shores. The view was excellent at all times of day and the sunsets were spetactular. The location on the island is very good and the Beach House restaurant is excellent, fun to watch the sunset there with everyone else. The condo itself was well set up, very clean and functional. The visit exceeded our expectations.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. You really feel transported from everyday life when you wake up with the sounds of the ocean and have your morning coffee on the Lanai with the breeze watching the turtles feed. What a surreal experience. The location was great for the sunsets too. Its funny seeing all the people going to the beach house restaurant for the wonderful sunsets and we got the same just sitting out on the deck! I did not want to leave. The owners were very nice and well organized too. The vacation was great - We're hoping to head back soon. I would recommend getting a car to anyone staying here. There's plenty to do right around, but the whole island is beautiful to explore.
