My husband and I rented this property for a week and this place was soooooo clean! There were also some very good restaurants in the area. My husband loved having the dock right there to fish from and access to the kayak and canoe. We would definitely consider this property again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners.

My. Husband and I along with our dog Maxx had a great two weeks stay at sexton cove. The house was perfect for our needs,and the canoe was a added bonus. Maxx enjoyed his first time out in the canoe and is already looking forward to another visit. I would difinately recommend this property. The owners were great and Karen can cook a mean muai muai. I would also recommend that anyone visiting the area to go down to Marathon Key to the Dolphin Research Center. They have a great facility and do wonderful work with some spectacular dolphins(especially Jax). I would also recommend a visit to the Key Largo Fisheries, great prices on fresh fish.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners.

This was by far our best renting experience in the keys ever. The house was immaculate, and well maintained. The owner was easily accessible, helpful, and very informative about the area. We spent every night out on the large screened porch watching the sunset over the bay. The house was very spacious and accommodated all of the needs for our family of four with room to spare. The bay is at your back door with fast and easy access to Adam's Cut to get ocean side. There was plenty of parking for the truck and boat trailer. Also available is trailer parking at the (newly redone) fenced and locked community boat ramp. The concrete boat dock was in great shape on the deep, wide canal making it easy for docking. The community felt safe and was quiet. We will definitely be back, and are already planning our trip to stay here for next summer. (Ed says thanks again for the fresh picked fruit and the incredible grilled mahi mahi dinner)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great place to stay. VERY clean and nicely appointed.You can spend hundreds of $$$ more for less. Excellent access to the water and close to lots of great restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood and nice neighbors. Great screened in lanai to relax on and read a book or enjoy a beverage. I will definitely be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in Sexton Cove. We would highly recommend this property. Use of the canoe and bikes were great. Very close to everything.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
