Welcome to our "Beautiful Vacation Home at the Beach." Our condo is less than 20 steps from the beach. It is also directly across from the tennis courts. When you arrive, you will park directly in front of the condo. No congested parking lots or streets to cross. No elevators to carry luggage or children through. SouthBay By the Gulf is a unique community of privately owned townhomes, this community is extremely family-oriented.
Our townhome has two levels for you to enjoy. The lower level has the living room, dining area, and kitchen. There is plenty of room for lounging with family and friends or even entertaining a family reunion. The living room has a pull-out sofa and love seat with a large TV with VCR/DVD to your family to enjoy. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all types of cooking utensils. So, if you are a gourmet cook or a peanut butter and jelly mom, you will be able to do both. A private patio is off the living room. There is an outdoor grill to enjoy grilled steaks or seafood. You can also lounge in the patio or chairs and just listen to the ocean. A half bathroom is also located downstairs.
Three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located upstairs. Each bedroom has their own TV and VCR. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed inside. A large walk-in closet and private bathroom are located in this room. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a queen bed also. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated for your enjoyment. Located on the grounds of SouthBay are two lighted tennis courts and a five acre stocked lake. Many people fish off the bridge or feed the ducks and turtles. The complex also has two pools and two kiddie pools.
SouthBay is located directly in the middle of Destin. It is three miles from the Mid-Bay Bridge and the Destin Bridge. Destin is famous for deep-sea fishing and gourmet restaurants. Many of the restaurants offer beachside lunches and dinners. Shopping is a treat in Destin with the numerous Outlet Malls and designer malls. Destin is also famous for award winning golf courses, so bring your clubs for a day of golfing.
The most alluring part of our condo is the closeness to the beach. You will be at the beach in a little over 30 seconds. You will spend less time walking to the beach and more time ON the beach. Rental chairs are available for you and your family. The children will play in the sand or snorkel on the beach. We will also provide sand buckets, shovels and nets for the children as well as tennis rackets and balls. All you will need to bring on this trip to the beach is Beach towels.
