We absolutely loved our time spent at the Wright Get Away. My husband had never been to the Outer Banks, and Manteo provided the perfect jumping point to visit the Bodie Lighthouse as well as Duck, Carrolla, and Currituck. We had a great time venturing out to several restaurants and even investing in a Nags Head Hammock!!! I would definitely recommend staying at this location...as I myself plan to return in the near future :) Oh, and we were able to take our dog with us!! Bonus points!!!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We needed something for two people for two nights close to downtown Manteo- couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway cottage! An easy and picturesque five minute walk to downtown, quiet street and simply the most adorable and well-thought out accommodations! From the top notch quality of materials to the excellent layout the Wright Getaway is the right getaway for anyone! Several things we absolutely loved- the bathroom with its tin ceiling, large whirlpool tub and rainfall shower. Towels were fluffy, everything about this room screamed Four Star hotel. The gas fireplace was perfect for chilly spring nights, bed was very comfy, I could go on and on. Simply put your every need and desire is already predicted in this quaint, charming and totally luxurious little house. We took pictures and showed it off to all of our friends! Loved our stay and will be back again and again. PS- thought the pricepoint was excellent as well!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Wright Get-Away is also located just a short distance away from the Historic Downtown Manteo Waterfront, so many shops and restaurants are a convenient walk away.
