  Our family of 5 plus two family friends really did enjoy the spacious Topisaw cottage. This is our 9th year to visit Seaside and Topisaw is definitely one of our favorite cottages. We loved the open floor plan upstairs, great view from the tower porch, separate bathrooms for each bedroom, easy access in and out with the back staircase, separate driveway to park, screened porch upstairs, 2 outdoor showers and the hammock on the front porch. It is a very accomodating place to stay with a great location.

  The house was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and clean. It included all of the amenities we needed for a very enjoyable visit. We enjoyed the views from the porch and the proximity to town and to the beach.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Upon our arrival at Topisaw we were a bit dismayed as we were informed that the dryer in the kitchen was not working, but that there was a temporary dryer available on one of the porches. We also discovered that there was no hot water in the kitchen, upstairs bathroom or one full bath. The plumber came out the next day and fixed that problem. After the issue of the hot water was corrected, we all completely enjoyed our stay! Topisaw provided an extremely comfortable, roomy and convenient place for me, my husband, our two daughters, one son-in-law and one boyfriend. We all had our privacy, enjoyed breakfast together at the large table in the dining room, and had fun spreading out and playing games together in the living room. A lovely, comfortable home!

  great house..just what a beach house should be...comfortable, clean and roomy family areas..good kitchen and wonderful porches..not a bad walk to beach or pools. we are spoiled with such good food in new orleans, but we did enjoy our dinners at 30-a and georges at alys beach, also the many convenient airstreams at seaside. enjoy

  Topisaw, centrally located at Seaside, is the perfect beach retreat. Porches surround the house--there are spots for dining, reading, and lazing away the afternoon. The tower porch offers a view of the Gulf of Mexico sparkling in the distance. I would highly recommend Topisaw as a Seaside destination.
