Immaculately clean and fully furnished with all the "home away from home" amenities including a well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, etc. Two full baths (1 w/shower & 1 w/tub & shower), cable TV/DVD/CD player, wireless internet, wood burning fireplace (firewood provided). Main floor bedrooms: 1 King, 1 Queen,1 Single. Dormer bedroom upstairs has 1 Double & 3 Single beds. Family room upstairs has 2 new futons w/mattress pads provided (bring sleeping bags for the kids if you plan to use the futons) but with County ordinance and limited living/dining room space, there is a max of 10 guests allowed (incld. children).
8% tax on nightly rate, $160 cln. fee, $45 damage insurance.

We had a great time, everything was clean, and kid friendly. Ping pong table entertained the kids for hours and the bunk room was far enough from adult areas to have some quiet time while kids played. We will be coming back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Great Value - Stayed 7/25 - 7/31/2010 We have vacationed at the Oregon Coast every summer for the last 20 years. This house was the best value we have ever found. It easily accommodated 6 teenagers and 4 adults. The upstairs rooms and ping pong areas worked well for the kids. Very clean, plenty of dishes. Easy access to beach. Wifi worked great. It is close to the highway, so some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. We love the Arch Cape Beach, and enjoy the long walks at low tide.Did you find this review helpful? A peaceful Christmas recommends this property Stayed 4 days in December, 2010 We had a last minute need for a vacation house rental at Christmas-time to join family who had rented a different house in Arch Cape and extra space was needed (we had some little ones with us who loved the house and the children’s touch). Debbie and Jeanie were so wonderful in helping us find the Shutterbug. It was immaculate and perfectly stocked. We made warm fires every night and enjoyed spending quiet time with family. This rental was much better than the VRBO rental our other family members used which was run down and poorly stocked. It is obvious that the Shutterbug is well cared for and loved as the appliances were up-to-date and the whole environment inviting. We had some difficulty heating the upstairs space but nonetheless slept well. The location was fine for us as we had no need to be right on the beach (it’s a 2 minute walk to Sally’s Alley beach steps) and liked being across from St. Peter’s for Christmas mass! It is right on the highway (a fence and privacy shrubbery in between) but it rained every day and we did not spend lots of time outside and had the windows closed so the limited winter traffic was not too noticeable at night (winter traffic is much lighter than summer). I recommend the Shutterbug and using Arch Cape Rentals as they are accessible, professional, kind, and take great care and concern to make sure everything is in order.
