  For those of us from the desert this was delightful. The deck is large and great for entertaining, relaxing, and watching the surfers and families playing on the beach. One morning while having coffee on the deck we were entertained by some dolphins. The beach house was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with just about everything you would need. The beds are comfortable and there is nothing like the sounds of the ocean to put you to sleep. My husband and I along with our dog had a wonderful relaxing week-end.

  My family of four (five if you count our Lab!) stayed at this cute beach house for a week and were SO HAPPY! The house was impeccably clean, beds were very comfortable, and having our morning coffee on that deck was priceless. We did daily beach walks/tide pooling with the kids and our dog, went into Carpinteria for dinners and saw pro surfers right in front of our house (I won't name drop) . After about 3 days, the kids felt comfortable enough to go play on the beach alone and being so safe I felt it was OK too. I would just sit on the deck and watch them. What kid gets to play on a beach as their front yard? It was a beautiful memory to make for them. We had tons of friends stop over and had lots of BBQ's on the deck of the house. Although it may look small, it actually accommodates a lot of people in a really comfortable atmosphere. The only downfall is that it is a bit loud outside- the freeway is close by so be aware that when you go outside, you hear it. I never heard it while sleeping, but my kids did say that their room was "loud"- but they slept, so who knows? Leilany, the property manager is a very professional and a detail oriented person. She gave us very clear and easy instructions upon our check in, as well as her personal cell number and insisted we call her with any question or need- but we never had to use it. She is absolutely great to work with. We will definitely be back!

  What a view! This is an ideal place for a family vacation. We rented Bordeaux's Beach House to spend Father's day weekend. My husband enjoyed the surf, and I relaxed on the beach. The accommodations were excellent! It was priceless seeing grandfather, husband and son all in the kiddy pool on the deck, haha (well the big boys with just their feet). We are looking forward to coming back soon.

  Our family's first trip to Bordeaux's beach house was a great one. Our two kids couldn't get enough of the beach. Running around with our puppy all day long and most of the night, bye the time lights out though they were dead tired which was perfect! The sliding doors with full windows make it so you wake up on the beach, a short 3 step walkway and your toes are in the sand. The back deck comes fully furnished to accomodate a large party or just a family bbq (BBQ included haha). And the waves, they just keep rolling and even if your not a surfer its fun to watch the guys taking the break off the point. Beach is pretty secluded so it wasn't ever over crowded and the views are just insane. House was clean, furniture super comfy and the sound of the rolling waves makes for the perfect sleeping noise. Will definately be back, might even leave the kids at home next time!

  This was our families second return to this house. It had been about 6 years since we had been to Bordeaux's and we were quite disappointed. We arrived and the house "looked" clean but after entering the bathrooms all the rugs were wet (my wife had to re-wash and dry all the bathroom rugs), TV and sound system did not work (had to manually use TV), kitchen lacked many supplies, sink had a leak, and the house overall was very dirty. We had our 15 month old with us and because of his toys going under furniture we were left to lift up the couch and seats and my wife and I was beyond disgusted...it seems as though everything was swept under the couch and other love seats. Overall, the house is outdated. The kitchen needs some updating from the oven, to all the utensils and bowls,pots, etc... The sliding doors are horrible and need to be replaced. They were very hard to open and did not seal completely, so you heard everything. Some doors didn't even open. The bedrooms: some new beds & furniture and the family room new furniture...the furniture was very dirty and it felt like sand was always on the couches. It's too bad because the location is great, but a little updating in the kitchen, bedrooms, new doors, new outside, deck furniture (same wooden table from 6 years ago) and better air circulation in the house....at night you close the back doors and there is nothing to open to allow fresh air in. We ended up leaving a day early because we couldn't take how dirty it was and felt suffocated, not to mention the kitchen drove my wife crazy. Anyhow, we hope our recommendations help to Improve Bordeaux's. Rincon Point is an ideal location, but for price of Bordeaux's we expected more, much more. Especially, because we rent a summer home every summer and our standards are high.

I did however speak with you couple times to make sure everything was alright (that's how I was able to assist you with using the Television at 10PM on your first night). You lead me to believe everything was alright. As to your leaving early, tables being the same since your last visit 6 years ago I'd rather not dignify that with a response as its simply not true, we've only just purchased the home 2 years ago and nothing is the same, even the deck has been replaced. Please in the future allow your hosts the opportunity to make your stay better, we were rented each and every single week this summer from June till mid September and our guests have all loved how well we keep the place and how quickly we respond to their needs.

  This house has it all! It is on the point with great views and easy access to the beach. You can jog in the morning and surf in the afternoon. The waves continually swell towards the house, and even the novice surfer can learn to catch a wave here. at the end of the day the deck serves as your personal lookout to the sea. Staying at this house was not only relaxing but, every window opens to the ocean, so you feel like your on an island; but your conveniently located next to easy shopping and town--if you wan to leave. We invited friends to join us for a barbecue and watched the sun set in the way only California beaches can astound you with--this is one of the best beach houses I've stayed at. Speaking from experience as a native Californian who has traveled from San Diego's Aviara to Sea Ranch this house is truly a California beach retreat worth visiting.

  Fantastic location, right on the beach at Rincon. The house is clean and well furnished (with a huge TV and good bbq). Convenient for guests as there is public parking close by, and you can walk onto the property from the beach. We had a great time, the ultimate Southern Californian vacation.

  We just got back from an amazing week at Rincon Point. We've rented there before, but first time at 8050 Puesta Del Sol. It was incredible, our son and our 2 labs ran and swam all day. The beach was private and great. The home was inviting, comfortable, clean and well appointed. We are definitely going back. We had friends come visit, and now I'm afraid I'll lose the house to them on the next holiday! The sheets and towels were fresh and new. The kitchen might need a few larger serving plates, and perhaps a few sharp knives. I'll bring my own next time. The grill was terrific, and the blender definitely made a great margarita. Carpinteria is one exit away with grocery, swim shops and terrific taco places. My only slight complaint would be the master king bed, a little soft, but an easy price to pay for such a slice of heaven... Thanks for a fabulous experience.

  We had a great time at the beach house. It was ideally located right at Rincon. Everyone in our family was able to get in the water and surf. It was so nice to sit on the deck and watch the husband and kids out in the water. Our dog loved it too! We will definitely be back and we would recommend it to our friends.

  Great place, awesome view from the deck and tinted oceanview windows with great view of the whole break. Surfed everyday during one of the best swells of the season so far. Pro's and photogs all walking right by the deck. Beds were super comfortable and big flat panel TV's in front and both bedrooms. BBQ worked well. Oven a classic, but even the kitchen has a view. Access was a little tough with 4 cars and only one gate card and took a lttle help to find the back porch lights, but overall it was a great experience! Several people stopped by to ask if Flip (one of the owners) was around. apparently he stays there often and so it stays well maintained. Gladys the housekeeper was a sweetie as well at check in and move out.
