Castaway Cove Beachside is a gated - guarded upscale community a mile from the bridge to mainland Vero Beach. Spacious 3/3/2 home with separate 1 bedroom apartment with 1/2 bath. Walk past 2 houses to get to south beach - a seven mile stretch of private access beach - never crowded, usually deserted. Walking distance to 4 south beach area restaurants and a mile south of Ocean Drive shopping.
All of the rooms in this home are bright, open, spacious & nicely furnished. The abundance of large sliding glass doors that open onto the screen enclosed pool area make this home wonderful for enjoying the Florida fresh air. There is a large living room with double doors that open on to the screen enclosed pool for entertaining.
A large eat-in kitchen with a table for four plus 4 stools at an island countertop provide extra dining options along with
a seperate dining room that seats 6. A window that opens to a pool side counter top allows for easy poolside serving & entertaining.The kitchen is very well stocked with glasses, dishes, cooking utensils, pans and small appliances.
The family room has lots of seating and a TV plus double doors that open on to the screen enclosed pool.
The master bedroom is bright & spacious with double sliding glass doors leading out to the screen enclosed pool area. King size bed, walk in closet and large private bath with 2 sinks, large shower stall and seperate tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed & closet. The third bedroom has twin beds & closet. These 2 bedrooms share a central bathroom with tub/shower.
The fourth 'apartment' bedroom has it's own private entrance accessed from the pool area and has a double bed, closet & bathroom with sink & toilet. There is also a twin rollaway bed stored in the garage that can be brought into the house if needed. There are plenty of bed linens, towels and beach towels in addition to beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys for your use at the beach.
In addition to being steps from the beach there are many activities within driving distance including the Indian River Lagoon which offers opportunities for kayaking, boating and fishing. Nearby areas offer options for surfing, diving and snorkeling as well as Nature Preserves to explore.
Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Disney World and Kennedy Space Center are all located within driving distance.
