Our unit has just undergone extensive upgrades including new paint, new carpet, all new bedding and towels, new bath fixtures, and a new flat panel TV in the MBR.
Come stay in our lovely waterfront condo located at Anglers Cove in Marco Island. Enjoy gorgeous views of Marco Bay from our third floor end unit. Anglers Cove complex offers two swimming pools, three jacuzzis, tennis courts, boat, kayak and jet-ski docks, and a Tiki Bar & grill. Marco Island has something for everyone - fishing charters, shelling cruises and boat rentals are some of the Island Favorites. And of course we cannot forget our three and one half mile of exquisite white sandy beaches! There are also numerous golf courses located within fifteen minutes of Marco Island. Located close to Marco Island are the Florida Everglades; here you can enjoy a swamp buggy ride, airboat or explore other excursions. There is also an abundance of shopping to choose from in the area from Marco's quaint shops to the upscale 5th Avenue in Naples.

Our Vacation in Marco
Our condo in Marco was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed, and the view was wonderful. We faced the bay, and looked at the boats docked. The grounds at Anglers Cove are well maintained, and it had 2 very nice pools. Very relaxing there, not overcrowed, and at the pools we didnt have to search for chairs, there always were chairs to choose from. The Tiki Bar was great, had good food, and had entertainment on a few days a week. Great 2 for 1 Happy Hour everyday, and the drinks were modestly priced. We had a Great time there, and would definitely recommend going to Anglers Cove, and to the condo we rented. The owner of the condo was great, very pleasant, and very accommodating to our needs All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.. .

Recommended for: Age 55+.
It was obvious that the owners have not visted their property in quite awhile. The bedspread in the master bedroom was ripped and the pillows and bedding smelled musty. The cleaning company that is taking care of the unit is not doing a very good job as there is mold in the bathtub and dust everywhere. The unit is in need of a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.The ceiling fan on the screened area is badly rusted and should be replaced. Also the screen has a few holes in it. When we arrived we were informed by a note on the elavator that the airconditioner would not be working for 2 days. The agency taking care of the unit should have informed us of this before we arrived. This unit prioviosly received a not so flattering review and the owner replied that all of the problems were being addressed. Hopfully after this review the unit owner will actually make the improvements.

Owner response: Again, we take these reviews very seriously. If you look at the dates on our most recent reviews, it is apparent some unfortunate things occurred very rapidly at/in our unit. Just 2 guests prior, everything was reported to be FINE. Either way, this type of report is hardly acceptable and is being addressed immediately. We are electing to pull our unit off the rental market for the next 60 days pending a complete makeover. We will travel to Marco and personally oversee the work. I am changing the listing title to convey the unit will be unavailable until later this summer while the work is completed. While on-site, we will be addressing the issue of cleaning. This is basic and if not being accomplished, required changes will have to be made. It is disappointing because we have had such a good relationship with these folks for many years. However, if the unit is not being properly cared for, we will have to find an alter arrangement. Planned upgrades in the next 60 days will included bathroom work, re-screening the porch, paint, new blinds, fresh bedding, cleaning and anything else we find that needs attention. Additionally, we will prominently post contacts a guest may call to immediately alert us of any issues. The Harts.

My wife and I stayed in this condo for 1 week. This could be a nice place but it is not kept up and is in need of a cleaning. The comforter on our bed was so soiled and smelled very strong of body that when we arrived we had to take the bedding to the laundry. The walls were dirty and in need of washing. Heavy dust was hanging off of every slat on the hall door. The toilet overflowed 5 minutes after arriving. In defense of the owner I think the company who is supposed to be cleaning and repairing is doing a poor job. We reported all this to the rental agent. One good thing, the view was a nice one. I would not recommend this condo unless you see it first.

Owner response: As owners, we were very concerned about this review. We take them very seriously. We immediately contacted our rental agent and instructed them to purchase all new bedding for the unit. A deep clean will be conducted on the unit within 2 weeks. We will also address the effectiveness of our weekly cleaning crew and make sure they are getting the job done adequately!
This unit is very nice and comfortable. Checkin was easy. Nice community atmosphere. Clean. Beds were great. Nice screened lanai. Just would have liked a starter set of dishsoap, etc. Its ok. stores nearby. Great tips from other residents on best of Marco. Would definitely return.

We rented the condo for Jan,7-14 and throughly enjoyed our stay. The view was exactly as in the pictrured and Angler's cove was well kept and maintained. The condo was well supplied wiith all the necissities including a map and books to read.

Marco Island and Anglers Cove have provided amazing memories for our family since 2002. We had spent time visiting my parents in nearby Naples for several years prior to that, and were continually drawn to the beauty and ambiance of the island. It's been fun to watch close friends who have joined us, return to Marco to buy a place of their own. Although presented with numerous vacation alternatives over the last decade, we just can't seem to pass on the one destination we feel so drawn to, Marco Island.
