Fabulous for family gatherings, this beautiful oceanfront home offers panoramic views, a private, heated pool and bubbly hot tub. The comfortable great room, spacious well-equipped kitchen, and extra-long dining room table lets the family easily gather together, yet there’s plenty of space to enjoy some solitude. With six oceanfront bedrooms with TV/DVDs and 3800 sq ft of living space, plus three large furnished decks and easy beach access, Sea Star is the place to be. (Sleeps 12.)
The first level game room is “party central” featuring both a pool table and a game table for poker, bumper pool, chess, etc. Watch a movie or keep up with your favorite teams on the 42-inch flat screen with DVD and ESPN sports package. The kitchenette has a microwave and a full-size refrigerator with icemaker to keep drinks and snack close at hand. The first level also has a full bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Walk from the game room out onto the private lower deck with an 8-man hot tub. A teak dining table and chairs provides a great spot for enjoying a shady lunch by the pool or sipping a cocktail while sizzling up the day’s catch on the gas grill in the evening.
The second level has new carpeting and two spacious king-bed masters, one with a Jacuzzi tub, both with fabulous views of the undulating sea grass across the dunes. A bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with two sets of bunks share a hall bath. All four bedrooms open onto an airy oceanfront deck with a hammock, Adirondack chairs, and delightful ocean breezes. The washer and dryer are also conveniently located on the second floor.
Upstairs on the top level, take in the panoramic views and watch the waves come rolling in while you relax in the comfortable great room which also features a 32' flat-screen TV and a stereo for CDs and iPods. Cooks will love the well-equipped kitchen with room for lots of sous chefs and a large French door refrigerator….plus awesome views of the ocean and dunes. The whole gang will enjoy mealtimes together at the dining room table. The breakfast bar and the roundtable in the window nook looking out to the sound are great places to sit with a laptop or a good book or play a game. The king-bed master offers spacious seclusion and a picturesque view of the ocean. The top deck is perfect for watching the sunrise over the ocean with your morning coffee or taking in the sunset with a cocktail in the evening. Choose a chair at the teak table or one of the rockers or lounge chairs. In the evening, take out the telescope and explore the night sky. Vacations are always stellar at Sea Star.

This home was designed with our perfect vacation in mind! There were 3 families; all wanted to be together but still have the ability to have private time...this home allowed for just that! It has 3 stories and lots to do for all ages...a game of pool, some poker, board games, snacking, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, reading on the deck, napping in a hammock, lounging in the pool, playing with pool toys, walking on the beach, making a campfire and sand castles on the beach....and we could even stay in touch with work with internet! (Somehow, working while looking outside at the beautiful views seems a lot less like work). Thanks for having a home that is so well stocked, so beautifully decorated, and available to us for some great family time. Great place!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

What a great house! We have been coming to the OBX for three year with friends (14 people total) and so far this is our favorite house.
