We rented this house for 3 weeks this winter and were very happy with the accomodations. The house was very well stocked, the location was perfect, and the community very clean and well maintained. Not to mention the great golf course! The owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with. I will certainly return to this home. Thank you for sharing your place with us!Recommended for: Age 55+

We stayed at this great home Dec 2012 Jan 2013. We had a great time. House delightful, facing south and the pool and hot tub heated bordering bath temp. Bliss. The owners were extremely helpful with all the answers to questions that were put to them. Also the managing agents were very helpful also. We would have liked to book this home again, but being "slothful" were too late. Serves us right!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented the home and had a wonderful trip to Florida.We were one 10 min from my sister's home and a half hour from Apollo Beach where my mom and Dad live.We loved hosting a Holiday and having everyone there.The villa was well decorated and very clean.The pool and hot tube were so nice every morning coffee in the hot tub,it doesn't get any better!! For all the viewers this is a great place and instead of staying with family we had our own space.The pond in the back of the home was active with many birds and all the turtles.Of course my husband was hoping to see a gator.Thank you to the owners who were a pleasure to work with.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Lovely villa. Great location. The villa and location were just perfect. The villa was very clean,comfortable and well equipped. The pool had sun all day. We saw turtles and lots of beautiful birds in and around the lake. The only downside was that we had to return home after 2 weeks!! We have stayed in Florida several times and always book a different villa but this was one of the best if not the best we have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend this villa and location. We stayed in this villa for a week, and would highly recommend it. Having stayed in villas in various locations on the Gulf coast, this was by far the best! Only a short drive from some lovely eateries, and beaches. The villa itself was beautifully presented, and well maintained, the photographs don't do it justice! River Strand is a well kept, very secure and picturesque complex. Owners were very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly use again if available, have already enquired about availability for dates next year!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We had a fantastic stay in this villa, it far exceeded our expectations. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The location could not have been better, it was only a few minutes drive to the motorway so travelling to shops and restaurants was very convenient. We would highly recommend a stay in this villa, you will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a very lovely villa. It is quite pleasantly furnished with both a smart, fresh appearance and a comfortable feeling. It had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Everything worked! ( I can't say that about all the houses we have rented over the years.) The house is situated so that the pool and hot tub have the best use of the sunshine during the whole day. The lanai also has a shaded area for lounging outside and/or watching the interesting wild life in and around the small lake in back of the house. The owner of the house was very easy to work with and very helpful in answering my questions and concerns. We would recommend this villa to everyone, and would Really, Really like to be there right now ourselves!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay - we have stayed at lots of villas in florida & this was the best we have ever stayed at. The villa is wonderful,everything you would want and more. We very much enjoyed the "local wildlife" around the lake. An enjoyable holiday at a wonderful villa. The owners were really easy to deal with & very very helpful. Thank you we had a wonderful time & will tell our friends about this lovely villa.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We had a great stay at your villa!! Great location, really quiet and some wildlife like turtles, birds and an alligator! We loved shopping at Ellenton's, but also the International Plaza in Tampa we liked very much. The guys enjoyed the golfcourse at Riverstrand, they played a lot and is a beautiful area to play golf (difficult too, they told us). We rented a boat at cool breeze boat in Nokomis. We had a fun day, saw some dolphins and a lot of birds. The photo's at this site gives a good idea how the place looks like. Thanks again for staying at your wonderful villa!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Me and my party (4 adults, 2 teenagers) lived here 4 - 21 april and we had a great time! The house was perfect for our needs. Clean, well equipped, great kitchen, comfy beds.The area is wery quiet and well-managed. The poolarea had sun from morning to late afternoon. The net over the poolarea is perfect, protects against insects and keeps the pool clean. The outlook over the little lake is soothing. A couple of turtles and a alligator lived there! Only disadvantage was the bbq that we rented. It looked so avful that we returned it without use. That was no problem, we took contact with the management (GulfCoast) and they brought back the bbq. Walmart is close, 10 minutes by car. Beaches (Anna Maria etc) 30 min. Orlando 2 hours. Ellenton mall is our favorite for shopping, 10 min. The owner was helpful all time. I definietly recommend this house. It's perfect for a party up to 6 persons.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My family and I stayed at this lovely villa for two weeks in July 2011 and could not have asked for more. Upon arriving at the villa we were all impressed with the decor and furnishings,before our arrival we had been pleased with the photos when we booked, however we were unprepared for just how lovely, spacious, clean and luxurious this villa is. The location is great, River Strand is a lovely well kept area and the gated community gives you that extra piece of mind. The kids really loved the pool which is great when you want to chill out for the day. I have to say that our overall experience of the holiday was one that can described as unbelievable and we would love to go back to relive those 14 days.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Delightful home! Everything we needed to make our vacation in Florida a very pleasant memory. Location in gated community was a plus. Furnishings were very comfortable. It was so nice to come "home" after a hard day of golf and relax on the lanai which has a wonderful lake view with a pool and hot tub, too! Sufia was very helpful answering all of our questions, and therefore, everything went very smooth. Overall, we had a great experience. Hopefully, we will be able to return again next year for our golfing vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for a week in early March and had a thoroughly relaxing time. The property is situated in a very quiet location which we really appreciated. The house is also well located for visiting the surrounding area and we found it very easy to reach the beaches, Sarasota, St Petersburg etc as well as local amenities such as grocery stores and the bank though having a car is a must. We particularly enjoyed visiting Myakka River State Park where you can hire bikes, Mote Aquarium and St Petersburg. The house is spacious and comfortable and the pictures don't really do it justice. I would definitely recommend staying here!Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, brand new, spotlessly cleaned, well furnished home. Sufiah was a joy to work with and all of our arrangements worked out perfectly. This home is in a great location, close to the highway making it accessable to Sarasota, St Pete & all of Bradenton and lots of golfing. We had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable & wish we could have stayed longer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
